Adam Levine And Wife Behati Prinsloo List Beverly Hills Home Before Baby Arrives

Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, are hoping to unload their Beverly Hills mansion before their baby arrives later this month.

With Prinsloo’s due date just days away, she and Adam Levine have slashed the price of their former home in Los Angeles in hopes of unloading it prior to their baby’s arrival.

On September 15, Celebuzz revealed Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo were having trouble getting rid of the 70s-style home, which boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. While the home has only been on the market for three months, the outlet reported a price drop of over $1.5 million and noted that Adam Levine had first listed the Beverly Hills pad for $17.5 million before ultimately dropping the price to $15.95 million.

Although Adam Levine may not be getting the price he wants for the property, it has been a substantial investment for the Maroon 5 singer as he purchased the home for just $4.83 in 2012.

“The 7,100-square-foot residence includes a home theater, a gourmet kitchen, a library, a gym, a maid quarters and a secret speakeasy that doubles as a card room,” Celebuzz revealed to readers. “Outside, the lot also features a tennis and basketball court, an in-ground pool and spa, a two-story garage with its own elevator, a guesthouse, sprawling lawns and stunning panoramic views of the nearby mountains.”

Celebuzz also reported that Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo had put their NYC apartment on the market for $5.5 million earlier this year.

Prior to Adam Levine’s wife’s pregnancy, the couple had been enduring a long-distance marriage as he tended to his filming duties with The Voice in Los Angeles and she continued to model in the Big Apple. While the couple, of course, spent as much time together as possible, their schedules were quite hectic and didn’t allow for too much time off. Now, however, as they prepare to welcome their first child together, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have committed to living in Los Angeles together full-time.

Since Adam Levine confirmed Prinsloo’s pregnancy in March with an Instagram photo of the model in a red bikini, he has been speaking of his excitement about becoming a dad for the first time. In April, Levine appeared on Live! with Kelly & Michael, which has since been renamed Live! with Kelly, where he confirmed his baby news and revealed he was expecting a girl.

“I’m about to be a dad. I’m superpumped,” Adam Levine told host Kelly Ripa at the time, according to a report by Us Weekly.

“I’m having a girl,” he said proudly.

Also during the interview, Adam Levine offered an update on wife Prinsloo, revealing that her food of choice was watermelon.

“She’s good, man, she’s just, you know, been eating a lot of weird food,” Adam Levine explained. “Watermelon, that’s the thing in our house. A lot — so much watermelon… Maybe she just, like, really likes watermelon. I mean, it’s delicious. I’m glad it’s not, like, pickles or some weird thing.”

Adam Levine also shared his excitement weeks ago.

“I’m going to be a f**king dad! I’m so excited!” Adam Levine said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month. “They let me make a baby! They let me make a baby!”

Adam Levine and his wife, Prinsloo, could welcome their baby at any time, and when they do, Levine will surely enjoy some time off as he adjusts to life as a dad, and he and his bandmates announced last week that several of their upcoming shows have been rescheduled.
