Heather Dubrow Issues Apology To Meghan: Did ‘RHOC’ Star Admit To Wrongdoing?

Heather Dubrow showed an interesting side of herself on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. While Heather could walk away from the dune buggy accident without any major injuries, she did suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder after the accident, and she did feel betrayed by her co-stars, Meghan King Edmonds and Shannon Beador, for not rushing to the hospital to be by Vicki Gunvalson’s side.

When Heather called to inform Meghan about the accident, she was in shock and she was clearly hoping for a particular outcome. When that didn’t happen, Dubrow essentially flipped out. Her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars argued that Heather hadn’t been completely clear about the accident. Since they were drinking beer and champagne to calm their nerves, Meghan didn’t think it was that serious.

According to a new Bravo report, Heather Dubrow is now issuing an apology to Meghan for the way she acted. When Dubrow called her, she had high expectations and she assumed that King Edmonds would drop everything to go be by Vicki’s side, even though Vicki had attacked her marriage and the girls had agreed on not being friends. Heather Dubrow was willing to sit down with King Edmonds to listen to her side of the story, and it is clear that Heather did feel she had crossed the line and made a mistake.

“I wanted to have lunch with Meghan because we are friends. We both deserved the opportunity to vent and hash it out. I thought we did pretty well, except for Meghan’s snarky comment in her confessional. Let’s face it though, we all get snarky when we are annoyed. I feel bad about the comment I made about Meghan being reckless getting pregnant. Not even sure what I meant, I was just annoyed and lashed out. I’m sorry if that hurt you Meghan,” Heather Dubrow explains in her Bravo blog, sharing that she didn’t mean to lash out at her, but she was just in shock and concerned for her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, who had been airlifted out of the desert.

While Dubrow and King Edmonds were able to work out their issues, Shannon Beador didn’t take the accident serious either. Of course, Shannon and Vicki had not been friends for a while and she had no interest in reaching out to Vicki. But Beador eventually called her, as she felt like she was the only person left who hadn’t done something to wish her a great recovery.

“After watching the episode I understand why Shannon didn’t want to go see Vicki. She didn’t understand the severity of the accident. She thought it was no big deal, so of course she wouldn’t rush over there. They aren’t friends and it makes no sense. Meghan had just been at Vicki’s house for her birthday and brought her a gift. Again, that’s why I couldn’t get over the non-responsive attitude,” Heather Dubrow pointed out in her blog, while defending her own actions.

“If you are asking why I didn’t go to the hospital, several reasons: I had my son with me, I had no car, Tamra’s kids were at camp, I had just been in an accident, and was in shock,” Dubrow revealed in her Bravo blog.

Many viewers had been very vocal about Heather Dubrow and Kelly Dodd staying at the camp, while they were trying to call the shots about what Shannon and Meghan should be doing in Orange County. As it turns out, they both felt too shaken up to drive.
