Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton’s Wedding Plans Revealed: They’re Coming Together As A Family
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are in love and reportedly planning to get married by the end of the year.
After about a year of dating, Stefani and Shelton, who struck up their romance during production on The Voice Season 9, are said to have set a date for their upcoming nuptials, which may take place around Christmastime.
“They’re planning a December wedding at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma,” a source told Life & Style magazine, according to a Hollywood Life report last month. “Gwen and the boys love it there and it will give them a lot of privacy.”

Earlier this week, on September 14, Us Weekly claimed Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were planning to get married by the end of the year, but also noted that the couple had not yet informed their families and friends of their wedding date.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s romance began last year as both parties recovered from divorces over the summer. In mid-July, Shelton and his then-wife, Miranda Lambert, revealed their marriage had come to an end after just four years. Meanwhile, Stefani and her former husband, Gavin Rossdale, went public with their divorce in August 2015 after 13 years of marriage and three kids together, Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, two.
Since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began dating, the couple has been spotted together frequently in both Los Angeles and Oklahoma and often, Stefani’s three sons are with them.
In early August, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton took her kids to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden on August 8, where a source claimed they looked like a family.
“They really did look like a family,” an onlooker told Life & Style magazine. “Blake acted like he was Apollo’s dad.”
The magazine report went on to reveal that as Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton plan their wedding, they are excited to include Stefani’s kids in their plan.
“Apollo wants to be the ring bearer, and the two older boys will be junior groomsmen with Blake,” an insider explained. “Blake wants it to be really special, to show them coming together as a family.”
The magazine insider added that Blake Shelton will be paying for the entire wedding, which will be attended by “family and close friends.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton haven’t yet gone public with their alleged plans to wed, but since their romance began last year, rumors have been swirling in regard to when and where the ceremony will take place.
“[Gwen Stefani] and Blake are always discussing what their wedding will be like. Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo will all play big roles of course,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life. “In addition to writing their own vows, Gwen and Blake have been working on a love song that they plan on singing on their special day.”
As Gwen Stefani’s rumored plans to get married continue, the singer has been staying busy with her This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour, which keeps her on the road until October. Meanwhile, Shelton is in the midst of production on the 11th season of The Voice. While Stefani has made appearances on the show for the past several seasons and starred as a coach for two seasons, she will not be appearing alongside her boyfriend when the series premieres on NBC next Monday night. Instead, Shelton will be joined by his new co-stars, Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus.
