Zac Efron Reportedly Dating Taylor Swift! Is He Just Another Breakup Song?
Zac Efron is one of the hottest bachelors in Hollywood at the moment that’s why it isn’t surprising that female celebrities would swoon over him including Taylor Swift. According to HollywoodLife.com, the 26-year-old pop star is eyeing the 28-year-old actor after her recent breakup with Tom Hiddleston.
“She’s been talking about him nonstop since her breakup with Tom,” an insider told In Touch. “She’s always said she feels a strong connection to Zac, but could never act on it because they’ve always been dating other people.”
Since both are now single, then there is a chance that they will hook up soon. A source revealed that the Baywatch star and the “Bad Blood” hitmaker have always been flirty with each other. She reportedly reached out to the screen heartthrob and asked him to hang out with her and have dinner.
Zac Efron and Taylor Swift haven’t started dating yet, but it could happen soon since she isn’t touring at the moment. The two met in 2012 while working on the animated film The Lorax. There have been reports that the two had a flirty dinner date during that time, and since then have always texted and called up each other.
During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Zac and T-Swift denied that they’re dating and revealed what they did during Valentine’s Day. The Grammy Award-winner claimed that she had a singles party with her girlfriends while the Hollywood hunk admitted that he went on a date but never revealed the name of the girl. There really is chemistry between Zac Efron and Taylor Swift so maybe now is the perfect time to rekindle their romance. After three months of dating, the “Shake It Off” singer split up with the 35-year-old English actor. Instead of being devastated, the songstress didn’t have a hard time moving on. She was spotted hanging out with her close friends Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, and Martha Hunt.
“This wasn’t a dramatic break up,” an insider told PEOPLE. “Taylor’s been very upbeat.”
The blonde beauty has been labelled a serial dater because of her long list of celebrity ex-boyfriends which included John Mayer, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, Calvin Harris and the most recent addition was Tom Hiddleston. Most of these men have been made into a breakup song so Zac would probably end up in one if he decided to date Taytay.
The Neighbors actor broke up with model Sami Miro back in April. He deleted all of her photos on Instagram and unfollowed her. Instead of finding a rebound, he focused more on his career, fitness and doesn’t hang out much with his co-workers.
“Between every take and whenever he is not filming, he does push-ups and finds chairs to do tricep dips,” an insider told PEOPLE. “But when he does make time for fun, he enlists the company of a few of his sexy co-stars. [He] doesn’t do much interacting with co-stars except for the girls.”
A few days after their breakup, Miro was spotted dating DJ Alex Andre while Efron gets hooked on fitness and sports. During the promotion of Neighbors 2, he revealed his life after split up.
“Try and find what really motivates you, find what you love, and do your best to keep searching for that thing,” he said adding, “Work hard when you find it.”
Zac Efron doesn’t have to look any further because Taylor Swift is reportedly ready to go out on a date with him. Since the songstress hasn’t written any breakup songs about her most recent ex-boyfriends Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, then it may be safe for the actor to have a relationship with her.
