Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx Getting Married – Tom Cruise Approved?

Tom Cruise has given his blessings to Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx.

According to an exclusive report from OK! Magazine, Jamie was tired of sitting around, waiting for anything to happen. So he decided to directly have a word with Tom Cruise and asked him to release Katie from her divorce agreement, which was stopping her from publicly dating until 2017.

“Jamie called Tom and told him that he loved Katie, and that he thought that being in a stable family would be best for Suri too,” the insider revealed.

In response, the Top Gun star simply accepted the fact that he does not control Katie and she is free to move on in her life.

“Tom, despite initial reservations, agreed not to stand in the couple’s way,” the source reveals. “After the man-to-man conversation, even Tom could see how serious Jamie and Katie are.”

So, when is the couple planning to tie the knot? Well, according to the magazine, Holmes and Foxx are considering having a big party for their close friends and family members.

“She and Jamie both want to make sure it’s a fun, lighthearted event, with no stuffiness or formality,” adds the tabloid’s source. “They want it to be a party! When Katie married Tom, she barely had say in anything… This ceremony will be a real reflection of her taste and creativity.”

However, Katie Holmes’ spokesperson has revealed to Gossip Cop that OK! claims are “100 percent not true,” while Jamie Foxx’s representatives have stated that the star is “not getting married.”

Earlier this year, Us Weekly reported that the Dawson’s Creek actress was spotted in a dressing room with Foxx. The Django Unchained actor was on hand to perform with Barbra Streisand in Brooklyn and reportedly the duo spent some time in his dressing room just before the concert.

“They left from the dressing room area a few minutes apart from each other, but she was hanging out in his dressing room with him after the show,” an insider allegedly revealed to the magazine.

The online publication further claimed that Holmes and Foxx have been in a serious relationship for the past three years, but Suri’s mother has maintained privacy about their relationship.

“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” the insider added. “She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”

It must be tough for Holmes when different media outlets spread rumors about her personal life. In an interview with DuJour, Holmes addressed how she deals with all the nonsense.

In the interview, Holmes was asked how she manages to discuss her personal life when everyone is interested in talking about her relationship status. In her response, the star simply dismissed the subject and stated that she just tries to live a life that makes her happy and peaceful.

“There’s definitely an awareness of the fact that people have camera phones, and that your privacy is sometimes invaded, but that’s something that I think everyone has had to adjust to,” she added. “Even early on, when I was a young actor and all of a sudden people knew who I was, my dad told me, ‘Don’t let that change how you live your life.’ I’ve always sort of approached it that way. You have to continue to do the things you want to do and not let outside forces dictate.”

Even Jamie Foxx has explained that he is just friends with her and there is nothing going on between them. In his interview with Page Six, he talked about all the rumors and how everything about him and Katie Holmes is just fabricated news.

“In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people,” he further added.

It is safe to say that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are not marrying, as the celebrated stars are not even dating each other.
