Kendall Jenner Reveals Her Greatest Pet Peeve And Why She Wants Her Dating Life To Be Private

With 65.5 million followers on Instagram, it is inarguable that Kendall Jenner is one of the most watched models online and despite her love for sharing a glimpse of her life on social media, it actually irks the 20-year-old if someone is too absorbed with his or her phone.

“I find it offensive if you’re with someone at a dinner and they’re just sitting on their phone the whole time,” she told Allure magazine. “I take that personally. Like, am I not interesting enough for you to talk to me? It’s so crazy because even though we talk about trying to be present, everyone wants to be in the future now.”

She admitted that some of her close friends and family members “are so connected to their phone and can’t get off of it.” She likewise recalled reprimanding her younger sister Kylie two years ago because of failing to appreciate the beauty of Thailand during a vacation.

“It was the first time we had ever been to this beautiful place, and we were sitting in a car. I was just zoning out, taking it all in. And Kylie wouldn’t put her phone down. I’m like, ‘That’s so crazy to me that you’re not experiencing this.’ That was the moment it kind of clicked for me. And I didn’t like it. So sometimes I delete Instagram or Twitter or Snapchat off my phone for a couple days.”

In a previous interview with Vogue, she revealed that all of her Instagram posts must be organic.

Her most liked photo, the one showing her locks in little heart shapes, was taken when she was having a bad day. Fellow models Hailey Baldwin and Gigi and Bella Hadid opted to play with Kendall’s hair not realizing that the photo would yield 3.6 million likes.

She also highlighted the importance of not posting too much because there has to be “mystery.” “You want to leave them wanting to come back,” she said.

Kendall might be an expert in branding herself online, but she describes herself as “super awkward.” This also appears to be the reason why she doesn’t divulge details about her dating life.

“I just—my personal life, I’m so young. Whoever I’m dating, or going to be dating, is young, too. So I don’t think it’s figured out. Do you know what I mean? So if I don’t know what it is, I’d rather not let everyone else know.”

Kendall is being linked to A$AP Rocky after being photographed several times while on “dates.” This year, she made headlines for allegedly dating Los Angeles Lakers player Jordan Clarkson, and last May, photos of her reunion with One Direction’s Harry Styles during their St. Barts getaway also emerged. Nonetheless, she seems to practice what she’s preaching for she didn’t reveal her real status with these men.

A few days ago, Harry and Kendall were seen having dinner at L.A.’s Ysabel. The two have been dating on and off since January, 2014, but insiders claimed that their romance was never serious to begin with.

According to People magazine, Harry and Kendall have not officially rekindled their romance but are “continuing to talk and see where things go.” The Estee Lauder model is reportedly happy but is more cautious this time.

“He’s not going to settle down and she understands that’s just the way he is. She really likes him, but her heart’s not as invested.”

At this point, Kendall realizes that she is still too young to worry about long-term romantic links. In a few years, she might unseal her lips and reveal who she’s actually dating. Her sister, on the other hand, might have a different perspective because Kylie will allegedly marry Tyga very soon.
