Sarah Jessica Parker Describes Her Meeting With Kim Kardashian, Did SJP Approve Of The Reality Star?

Although Kim Kardashian is, herself, one of the most famous celebrities around the globe, she still manages to get excited when she meets celebrities who she is a fan of. Kardashian recently had the opportunity to meet one such star and was left star-struck.

Upon being greeted by Sex and the City actress and fashionista businesswoman Sarah Jessica Parker, Kardashian gushed over the meeting while backstage at rapper husband’s show, to which she had invited Parker, as The Mirror shares. A Snapchat video posted by the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality character demonstrated her excitement.

“You’re, like, my idol. You’re the most amazing person on the planet.”

So what did SJP actually think of Kim? Well, her response about the meeting, when asked the question during the launch of her new fragrance, Stash, helps to see Kim Kardashian in a more “gracious” light, as the Daily Mail relays.

“She was lovely. My son is a huge Kanye fan and they were really gracious and allowed him time with Kanye and that was in large part Kim’s doing.”

The 51-year-old went on to say that she was “incredibly impressed” with the mother-of-two’s “graciousness” and her “presence.”

‘There was a focus that I witnessed, not just with my son — whom she gave a lot of time to — but with everyone in the room. She was never looking over her shoulder, she was hospitable and lovely. It was so cool to watch her with my phone – she took my phone and was like ‘let me shoot this whole thing’ and she shot the whole conversation with Kanye and my son, which was so sweet.”

Parker is known for being a complete style icon thanks to her wardrobe from Sex and the City and her own impeccable taste for fashion. When asked whether she sees Kim K as a style icon, the entrepreneur, mother and actress on the new HBO series Divorce, shared she really isn’t sure what that term even means anymore.

“I don’t know what icon means anymore. I don’t think of myself as a style icon. I think Kim obviously has enormous influence and she is more and more aware of what she wants and the images that she chooses to project, which she is in complete control of. I think she is a young woman who is evolving all the time and one shouldn’t make a decision about anybody. She is not baked and done — I’m not either — so let her experiment and delight in the choices she has to make and let’s be kind to one another and be good to one another.”

Although the world has a view of Sarah Jessica Parker as a perpetual Carrie Bradshaw who steps out in stilettos and flouncy skirts on the regular, Parker actually insists she has a laid back approach to style in her day-to-day, noting that she typically goes casual due to the demands of motherhood and her busy lifestyle. And, regardless as to how trim and fit she is, Parker insists she loves food and should probably be more disciplined about what she puts in her body.

“On an average day I walk, run after the kids, go up and down the stairs and eat and eat! I should be more disciplined about consumption. I love almost anything. I love junk candy more than the finer candy. I love coming to the UK so I can stock up on McVities biscuits with chocolate, Jammy Dodgers and fig rolls. I cannot wait to go and get biscuits; I love them.”

As noted, SJP has a lot on the go, with her newest HBO series and her genderless fragrance Stash, not to mention her shoe line, SJP, the woman is on top of her game regardless as to what she puts on her back and eats on the daily.
