The latest possible damage to Drake’s net worth occurred when the tour bus he was sharing with DJ Future the Prince was robbed. On Tuesday in Phoenix, Arizona, around $3 million worth of jewelry had been in a briefcase when a thief came along, and it went missing. The mystery was solved when police found footage of the suspect from surveillance cameras and arrested the alleged thief. The jewelry, though not belonging to Drake, was found after Travion King, 21, was jailed, says ABC News.
Drake’s net worth might not have taken much of a plunge after his tour bus was robbed. At most, it may have delayed or caused a stop on the tour to be canceled as police investigated the theft. It didn’t affect his career or earnings that much, as Drake’s current net worth sits at $88 million, according to Money Nation.
