Kate Middleton And Prince William Ready For Their Canadian Adventures With Kids In Tow: Find Out Their Schedule

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are officially heading to Canada for their first ever overseas voyage with their children. Kensington Palace has officially confirmed that Kate Middleton and Prince William will bring their adorable children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, on their journey to the nation and that the trip is set to commence on September 24.

Since the announcement and confirmation that the young royals are, in fact, heading north in 10 days, speculation has brewed about the intentions and repercussions the trip will have in regards to media, politics, commerce, and economic issues.

Excitement is bubbling over in Canada as royal fans are set to welcome the adorable family. The anticipation has grown as the date of Kate and William’s arrival nears. Although we have all seen the pair in their formal attire, and even Middleton wearing the odd tiara, this trip is reportedly meant to be much less formal and will involve some fun outdoor activities, including fishing in British Columbia.

As Forbes notes, the couple’s spokesperson briefed the media regarding the intentions the Duke and Duchess have for the trip.

“They are spending a considerable amount of time in one or two places rather than having to dart across the country, so they really hope to get a real sense of British Columbia in particular. It is a largely casual, highly outdoors tour. There will be the usual government formal moments, but they’ll be getting out there and getting to meet Canadians face-to-face in all sorts of different settings.”

The journey for Kate, William, and their family will likely be one that is much more relaxed and includes more contact with the people. For the media, it will mean the opportunity to snap a plethora of wonderful shots of the couple and their little ones. Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been quite protected from the media, as Kate will serve as their sole photographer aside from only a handful of occasions. Therefore, this will be a welcome occasion for all. Another famous and loved family that will be a part of the spotlight during this visit is Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife and kids.

The Canadian government is ramping up the excitement of the visit by the young royals with the slogan “Just Imagine.” There will be four public appearances that are geared toward the royal youngsters, with the first being a stop in Victoria on Canada’s west coast via a private jet hired by the Canadian government.

The entourage accompanying Kate, William, George, and Charlotte will include 12 individuals: three private secretaries, four communications officials, a tour secretary, an operations manager, a personal assistant, Kate’s hairdresser, and the children’s nanny, Maria Turrion Borrallo. The couple will mainly stay at the Government House, which is the official residence of the Queen’s representative in B.C. This will be the couple’s base for their week-long trip.

Along with exciting excursions, there will be a children’s party for Prince George and Princess Charlotte to attend at the Government House, an event that is put on for the children of military members.

As noted, this marks the first overseas journey for the entire family. Although Duchess Kate and Prince William took off to India back in April, it was entirely a couple’s adventure. The pair have taken George and Charlotte on weekend getaways around Europe, as the Daily Mail reported, which have clearly been the test to prepare them for this lengthier journey to the Great White North with their clan. Canada is right to be excited about their royal visitors.
