Gigi Hadid Plots With Zayn Malik To Arrange Date For Taylor Swift: Is Harry Styles Willing?

Taylor Swift just went from enjoying a highly publicized romance with actor Tom Hiddleston to coping with the heartbreak of getting dumped. But the pop music princess has pals to support her, and Swift has emerged in the public spotlight again, playing the role of “third wheel” to her girl squad member Gigi Hadid and boyfriend Zayn Malik.

The Daily Mail noted that Zayn has been coping with anxiety, and Gigi had remained supportive throughout his emotional health struggles. Now with Swift along for the date, Malik has two strong women by his side.

Throughout her love life, Taylor has not endured long periods of being single, going from one boyfriend to another. But she only recently found herself back in the single-and-ready-to-mingle category following Tom’s decision to split. Since then, Swift has supported her model pal Gigi throughout New York Fashion Week, and Hadid and Malik returned the favor by taking her on their date in the “third wheel” position.

Taylor chose a chic maxi dress for the evening, with her hair arranged in an elegant side part. Her pal Gigi opted for wide leg trousers, while Zayn kept it simple in jeans. Malik has discussed his struggles with anxiety, canceling a show in Dubai recently because of those issues.

While Hadid and her boyfriend are staying strong as a couple, Gigi’s pal hasn’t had quite so much success with her love life. First the “Blank Space” singer and Calvin Harris broke up, then two weeks later she started dating Hiddleston in a relationship that lasted for only three months before crumbling.

But if Hadid has her way, Swift won’t be single this time around for long.

Hollywood Life‘s insider reported that Gigi has turned to Zayn for help in plotting how to get the 26-year-old “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer to dive into the dating pool once more.

While Malik, 23, and Hadid, 21, are eager to provide a way for Swift to renew her love life, she may not be quite so enthusiastic as her pals, according to the source.

“Gigi and Zayn want to set Taylor up with some of their friends, but Taylor has no interest whatsoever.”

However, Hadid and Malik are still hopeful that they can lead the way. They reportedly plan to start with baby steps by inviting Swift to double date with them and an as-yet-unnamed new man.

“Gigi and Zayn want Taylor to go on some double dates with them, and go out and be social,” added the insider.

When it comes to just whom Hadid and Malik might choose to double date with them, Swift has an impressively long list of former boyfriends. The combination of Taylor and Harry Styles ranks as one of the most popular, pointed out Marie Claire.

Swift and Styles were seen walking through Central Park, and their romance, which included a snowmobile accident, later prompted rumors that several of Taylor’s songs were inspired by Harry, including “Style” and “Out Of The Woods.”

And there’s an indication that Styles just might be available for the double date that Gigi and Zayn reportedly want, depending on the phase of his on-again, off-again relationship with Kendall Jenner of Keeping Up With The Kardashians fame.

A source told People that Jenner has been disappointed by Styles, and that the couple is “not officially back together.” Instead, Harry and Kendall are “continuing to talk and see where things go.”

The 20-year-old supermodel has learned from her past, and she feels “hopeful” about rekindling a romance with the 22-year-old singer while taking care to protect her heart this time around, explained the insider.

“He’s not going to settle down and she understands that’s just the way he is. She really likes him, but her heart’s not as invested.”

That leaves the question open about whether Styles might be available for a double date with Taylor, Hadid, and Malik. Will Harry consider giving that romance another chance, and will she agree? Post your views below.
