Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux’s Marriage Is Strained Due To Their Busy Careers [Report]

Are Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux on the rocks due to their busy careers in the world of entertainment?

Just one year into their marriage, the couple is said to be experiencing marital turmoil, which appears to be caused by Theroux’s filming duties in Australia.

“[Jennifer Aniston]’s proud of Justin’s work but she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t looking forward to the end of the shoot” of his HBO series, The Leftovers, an insider told Radar Online on September 14. “But after Justin told her bosses were leaving a door open should HBO want another series, [Jennifer Aniston] flipped out.”

As the outlet noted, The Leftovers has been filming its third season in Australia since earlier this summer, prior to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s one-year wedding anniversary. Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston was said to have temporarily moved to New York City from Los Angeles, where she and Theroux have a home in Bel Air and another in the bird streets of West Hollywood. However, when it comes to a temporary move to Australia with her husband, the insider noted that the country is “just one step too far.”

“It would have been better if he could have gotten a serious movie career off the ground as that only involves him being away for six weeks instead of six months,” explained the insider. Now, “[Jennifer Aniston] doesn’t want Justin to sign on for another series, but he does — and will have to. He’s in a seven-year contract with studio bosses that he can’t get out of.’

“[Jennifer Aniston] wants him to get back into movies and scriptwriting and walk away from TV work for good,” the insider added.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot in August of last year after dating for about four years. After striking up a romance in 2011 (around the time they filmed Wanderlust), Aniston and Theroux purchased a home together in BelAir for $22 million. Then, three years after becoming engaged in August 2012, they tied the knot at the home.

As fans may recall, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux managed to pull off a secret ceremony on a Wednesday in August of last year, which many of their guests didn’t even know about. As the couple has since revealed, they invited members of their family and many friends to their home for a “birthday party,” but ultimately hosted a surprise wedding, which was attended by several celebrities, including Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen Degeneres, Portia de Rossi, and Courteney Cox.

Although Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux didn’t throw a mega-bash for their one-year anniversary weeks ago, they did enjoy an anniversary trip to the Bahamas weeks prior to their actual anniversary. In photos from their vacation, which took place ahead of schedule due to Theroux’s filming responsibilities, he and Jennifer Aniston were seen kissing one another on the beach and paddle boarding in the water.

Because Jennifer Aniston appeared to be sporting a bit more weight than usual during her vacation with Theroux, rumors of a pregnancy quickly began swirling. However, as her rep stated, she was not pregnant at the time.

“[Jennifer Aniston] is not pregnant. Shame on In Touch for making up the whole story, but this is not the first time they have done so,” Aniston’s rep stated, via Entertainment Tonight. “What you see is her having just enjoyed a delicious big lunch and her feeling safe on private property.”
