Nick Viall Still Single? ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Star Claims ‘There’s No Guarantees’ He Will Find Love On ‘The Bachelor’

After three runs on ABC’s Bachelor franchise, one would expect Nick Viall to find love sooner or later. However, during a recent appearance on Good Morning America, the future Bachelor star admitted that he still gets nervous about finding the right girl.

Will Viall end up single at the end of The Bachelor?

According to Us Magazine, Viall was as shocked as anyone at being picked to star in the upcoming season of The Bachelor. After all, ABC had plenty of options in Luke Pell and Chase McNary.

“At first I was like, ‘Really? C’mon,” Viall admitted. “They asked me, and I was very nervous. It took me a couple days. I told them I had to think about it. It’s a huge responsibility, but it’s obviously an amazing opportunity, so ultimately I accepted.”

Viall will pick through 25 different women this season, but he still knows that finding love isn’t a done deal.

“There’s a lot of expectations that come with it, and there’s also no guarantees, right?” Viall admitted. “You never know if you’re going to connect with [the women]. Maybe you really like someone who doesn’t like you back. You just never know.”

While Viall is uncertain about his prospects next season, he’s already received plenty of support from former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars.

Surprisingly, even Nick Viall’s ex, Andi Dorfman, offered words of encouragement.

“Andi sent me a quick text. It pretty much echoed her tweet. It was very gracious, and I was a bit surprised. It was a very nice text. We went back and forth a little bit,” Viall stated. “We’ve both got on each other’s nerves over the past, but I think we’re at a good place at this point, and certainly I wish her well.”

For his part, Viall is just as nervous about letting girls go then accepting them. In fact, he admitted that he is most nervous about sending contestants home than he is handing out the roses.

Of course, Viall already has a strategy in mind that he hopes will help him find the right kind of love.

“If I feel compelled to ask a question or have a tough conversation, I’m going to do that just because I want to get to know all the high-level things,” he stated.

According to the Daily Mail, Viall was part of Season 10 and 11 of The Bachelorette before appearing on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise.

During Viall’s run on Bachelor in Paradise, he seemed to have a great connection with Jen Saviano. Despite lasting until the season finale, the pair decided to part ways during the finale.

It isn’t clear if Viall will find love on The Bachelor.

While fans will have to wait until The Bachelor returns in January to find out, Bustle is reporting about a few lesser known facts about Viall. For starters, Viall is a bit older than the typical Bachelor star. The average age is around 30 and Viall is 35.

That being said, Viall isn’t the oldest Bachelor star to grace the competition. Brad Womack was 38 in Season 2, while Bryon Velvick was 40 in Season 6.

Viall also used to be a good track athlete and has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Wisconsin. Because Viall has starred in three different seasons of ABC’s hit franchise, he has built a lot of friendships along the way. This includes friends from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise. Whether or not these attributes help Viall find love is yet to be seen.

Fans can watch Viall find love yet again when the new season of The Bachelor premieres in January on ABC.
