‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Leah Messer Responds To Jeremy Calvert’s Engagement With Cryptic Instagram Post?

Leah Messer appeared to be making an effort to get back together with her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, during the latest season of Teen Mom 2. So, how does she feel after learning of his recent engagement?

While the reality star and mother of three hasn’t released an official statement in regard to Calvert’s engagement to Brooke Wehr, which was announced on Instagram last week, a new report suggests that Messer may have indirectly commented on the development with a cryptic post on her Instagram page.

On September 12, the International Business Times revealed to readers that Leah Messer had cryptically shared a post about herself and her daughters instead of speaking out about Calvert and Wehr’s exciting news.

In the post, Messer said, “My heart is complete.”

Leah Messer’s post included a photo of herself and her daughter with Calvert, Adalynn, 3, and also spoke of her twins with Corey Simms, 6-year-old Ali and Aleeah.

Leah Messer married her first husband, Simms, in 2010 and divorced just one year later after admitting to cheating on Simms just days before they wed. Then, in 2012, less than one year after her divorce from Simms was finalized, Messer married Calvert. One year after that, they welcomed their daughter, Adalynn.

Throughout Leah Messer’s marriage to Calvert, the couple was often seen at odds on Teen Mom 2 due to Calvert’s busy career. While Messer wanted her husband around more, she wasn’t working a full-time job and Calvert felt the need to provide for their family. Then, after about two and a half years of marriage, Calvert accused Messer of cheating on him and spoke of his plans for divorce on Twitter.

Following his split from Leah Messer, Jeremy Calvert moved on with Brooke Wehr. After a short split at the end of 2015, the couple rekindled their romance and moved in together. Now, they are planning to get married.

“Yup I’m engaged to my beautiful amazing soon to be wifey,” Calvert confirmed on Instagram last week along with a photo of Wehr’s engagement ring. “I love you baby doll I’m one happy man right now your my everything….@bwehr10.”

Along with the same photo, Wehr confirmed the news to her own fans and followers.

“So this might have officially finally happened @jeremylcalvert505 #happycouple #happywifehappylife #bestvacationever #myforever.”

During the seventh season of Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert met for a dinner date, where they discussed the end of their marriage. However, while Messer appeared to be interested in a reunion, Calvert seemed to be done with the relationship and ready to move on.

After the episode aired, Leah Messer put MTV on blast on Twitter for making it appear that she was the only one who still had feelings.

“[Leah Messer] wrote that because the show cut out everything on Jeremy’s side,” an industry source told People Magazine in April. “He was the one who was begging her to come back and to give him another chance. He was the one that coordinated the date and to try to make it work.”

“The show was edited to make it seem like [Leah Messer] was the one doing it and didn’t show anything about Jeremy, and she wanted to set the record straight,” added the source.
