Anne Hathaway’s Veil Is A Big Hit At Recent Wedding

Anne Hathaway’s veil is considered by many to be one of the highlight’s of the actress’ recent wedding ensemble. According to the Examiner, a recent online poll indicated that most folks were in love with the Dark Knight Rises star’s attire, with the veil serving as the centerpiece.

Although the vast majority of the individuals who participated in the People poll were pretty big fans of Anne Hathaway’s veil, some thought the piece looked too much like an enormous bandage. However, it’s doubtful the actress was trying to please everyone on the planet when she selected the veil for her wedding.

“Looks like she had a serious head injury. Hope she’s okay,” one twitter user opined.

“I like the dress, but the head piece and bridal veil are awful,” another explained.

According to Contact Music, Anne Hathaway sported a “full tulle Valentino gown,” which was complimented with lace embroidery, a vintage headpiece, and a long veil. Over 150 people turned out to see the well-dressed actress marry boyfriend Adam Shulman in Big Sur over the weekend.

“I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!” she explained during an interview with People magazine.

Although Anne Hathaway’s veil and her recent marriage to Adam Shulman are on the tip of everyone’s tongue at the moment, attention will soon turn to the actress’ performance in Les Miserables. Director Tom Hooper’s adaptation of the novel — which also stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron Cohen — will arrive in theaters on December 25.
