‘Destiny’ Weekly Reset For Sept 13, All King’s Fall Challenges
Bungie is taking care of Destiny players still in need of Calcified Fragments for Moments of Triumph during the week before the Rise of Iron expansion launches. All King’s Fall Raid Challenges are available, while the Court of Oryx bosses are all rotating.
Challenges for the Warpriest, Golgorth, and Oryx are all available to complete in the King’s Fall Raid this week only. Destiny can also get a final shot at Thalnok, Kagoor, and Balwur before Rise of Iron hits. Those who have not completed key steps in finishing out their Moments of Triumph should head to their favorite LFG site like the100, DestinyLFG, and Reddit Fireteams to start looking for partners.
Tuesday, September 13 is also the final day to complete steps 5 and 6 of the “A Sword Reforged” Quest to receive an Exotic Sword, which is one of the requirements for the Moments of Triumph. Part of the quest line requires waiting until the next Armsday to collect a piece from the Weaponsmith. This gives players until September 14 to complete this step of the quest line.

- Riot Guard — Kill Champions in Level 41 Prison of Elders or Challenge of the Elders.
- Dead Shot — Kill enemies with precision shots in Level 41 Prison of Elders or Challenge of the Elders.
- Shock Trooper — Use Arc abilities to kill enemies in Level 41 Prison of Elders or Challenge of the Elders.
King’s Fall Raid Challenge Mode — All Challenges
All King’s Fall Raid Challenge modes are active for the Warpriest, Golgoroth, and Oryx. This is a chance to get Light level 335 weapons and armor plus the Calcified Fragments for beating each.
Nightfall — Dust Palace
Meridian Bay, Mars A new Cabal force has unleashed powerful Psion Flayers to seize control of the old Martian Warmind. Face this new threat and secure what remains of the ancient network.
Modifiers
- Epic — Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
- Void Burn — Void damage from any source is greatly increased.
- Brawler — Guardian melee damage is greatly increased.
- Grounded — Players take more damage while airborne.
- Trickle — Recharge of abilities is significantly reduced.
Weekly Heroic Strikes
Modifiers
- Heroic — Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive
- Solar Burn — Solar damage from any source is greatly increased.
- Berserk — Minions of the Darkness won’t flinch, even after massive damage.
- Small Arms — Primary Weapon damage is favored.
Court of Oryx (Guide)
Tier 3: Bosses On Rotation
If you have the Antiquated Runes, you can take your shot at all three Court of Oryx bosses this week – Balwur, Kagoor, and Thalnok. If you don’t have the Antiquated Runes, you’ll need to complete Tier 2 Court of Oryx events with the Stolen Rune.
