Ryan Gosling Talks About His Girls! Emma Stone Dating Andrew Garfield Again?
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have been romantically linked because of their on-screen chemistry, but the two seem unaffected by the constant rumors. In fact, all he can think about are the two baby girls he fathered with his girlfriend, Eva Mendes. During an interview with ET, the Canadian heartthrob gushed about 2-year-old Esmeralda and 5-month-old Amada.
“They’re angels,” he said of his daughters. “It’s the happiest time in my life.”
The 35-year-old actor prefers to lead a private life, and it is unusual to hear him talk about his girls. Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes even managed to keep her pregnancy and their two baby girls away from the paparazzi.
Emma Stone also treasures her privacy, and the 27-year-old actress keeps fans guessing if she is still dating Andrew Garfield or not. The Amazing Spider-Man co-stars started dating in 2012, but they broke up last year. However, Emma and Andrew were spotted together in London last month, which sparked the dating rumors. The two were seen walking around Convent Garden, and they looked comfortable with each other. Despite the recent sighting, a source claimed their relationship is purely platonic.
“They’re definitely not dating,” an insider confirmed to PEOPLE.
Early this year, the Zombieland actress and the 33-year-old actor decided to take a break from each other because their long-distance dating was putting a strain on their relationship. Garfield was in Taiwan filming Martin Scorsese’s Silence, but he was seen with Stone again after he was done working on the movie.
However, the couple went their separate ways after a few weeks, and the reports claim they officially called it quits. Despite the breakup, Emma and Andrew remained good friends, so maybe their meet up in London was just to catch up with each other.
“There was no drama, they’ve been apart while working. They still care about each other,” an insider revealed. “They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close.”
Since Emma Stone is officially single again, some fans are hoping that her onscreen romance with Ryan Gosling will come true. The two paired up in the romantic comedy, Crazy, Stupid, Love, in 2011 and the action flick, Gangster Squad, in 2013. The onscreen lovers reunited in the musical film, La La Land, which recently screened at the Toronto International Festival.
During a quick chat with E News, Gosling talked about how great it was working with Emma Stone again. Since they had already made two films together, he claimed that they tend to bring out the best in each other and help each other in ways that are difficult for people who have never worked together before.
The co-stars couldn’t help but shower each other with compliments during the Q&A after the screening. Ryan even joked about Emma by saying she’s secretly Canadian, and that’s why he likes working with her. The American actress beamed when she was asked what she loved most about the former Disney child actor.
“I just think he’s great,” she said. “I mean, he’s a fantastic actor and it’s just so much fun to work with him and that’s kind of all there is to it, really. It’s no more exciting than that—or less exciting than that.”

In a separate interview with Variety, Emma Stone revealed what it was like working with Ryan Gosling. She made it clear that they are only good friends and denied the rumors the tabloids have been reporting ever since she broke up with Andrew Garfield.
“It’s wonderful to work with somebody you know, trust and respect so much. He’s my buddy,” she said “I knew he could sing and dance. Once you’ve learned to ballroom dance with someone, you’ve learned everything you need to know.”
