‘Teen Mom OG’: Farrah Abraham’s On Again, Off Again Boyfriend Simon Saran Is Defending Her Parenting
Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham’s sometimes boyfriend Simon Saran is speaking out about her parenting. What does he really think?
In a new interview, Saran, who was seen being kicked out of Abraham’s home during last week’s episode of Teen Mom OG after walking on her carpet in his shoes, is speaking out on his on again, off again girlfriend’s behalf. He revealed that despite the frequent criticism of her parenting, Abraham is not a bad mom.
“[Farrah Abraham] does come under a lot of fire, but off cameras Farrah is an amazing mother to Sophia,” Saran revealed to Radar Online on September 9. “She plays both the mother and father role for Sophia. It takes a lot of strength.”
Farrah Abraham most recently caught backlash from Teen Mom OG viewers after she suggested her daughter Sophia was “too stupid” to get ready for an Easter event on the show.

While Saran has been in Sophia’s life for years now, he isn’t trying to be her father and told the outlet that he has a different kind of relationship with the child.
“I could never be her father, but I do want to be a good role model for her. She’s a really bright kid and I think guiding her in the right direction she can accomplish amazing things. It’s all about molding kids early. Their minds are sponges,” he explained.
On Teen Mom OG, Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran have been seen in good times and bad times, but thus far, Saran doesn’t have any regrets about joining the show and continues to enjoy the “adventure” of reality television.

Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran began dating a couple of years ago and had been on and off ever since. Although Abraham and Saran’s current relationship is unknown, Abraham confirmed earlier this year that she and the real estate agent had parted ways. Shortly after Abraham and Saran called it quits, Abraham was confirmed to be a part of an episode of Patti Stanger’s Millionaire Matchmaker and during the show, she went out on dates with a couple of men. However, despite hitting it` off with one of the men, their romance didn’t appear to go beyond the show.
Around that time, Farrah Abraham opened up about her romance with Saran during an interview and revealed that she and Saran were not an item.
“Simon is an ex-boyfriend,” Farrah Abraham revealed during a chat with Radar Online in July. “I’m happy I’m not fighting with an ex or having an ex say horrible nasty things about me.”
Continuing on, Abraham revealed that she didn’t take Saran’s feelings into account when she signed on to appear on Millionaire Matchmaker. According to her, she made an effort not to include Saran in projects she was taking on post-split. Abraham also said that she didn’t care to hear what he had to say about her dates.
One month later, Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran were still on the outs, but during one of her latest interviews about their relationship, she had nothing but good things to say about her former partner.
“I’m busy, Simon’s busy,” Farrah Abraham explained to OK! Magazine last month. “We are both two go-getters always on the move, which makes it really hard to have a relationship. We’re still really great friends.”
