Melissa Gorga’s Marriage In Trouble: Why Her Marriage Is Rocky Like Teresa Giudice’s Marriage

Melissa Gorga may be very determined to get her name out into the world, as she has tried singing and more recently, opening up a clothing store. But Melissa seems to be working within a framework that suits her husband. On this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Gorga is learning that her husband isn’t exactly the best team player, as he always calls her at work when he’s feeling overwhelmed with three children at home. And based on last night’s episode, Melissa and her husband had their biggest fight to date.

According to a new Radar Online report, Melissa Gorga’s marriage may be in trouble if last night’s fight is any indication of the future. As it turns out, Joe really doesn’t like Melissa working outside of the home. He prefers to have her at home, even though Melissa really wants a career outside of the home. Gorga has revealed that it’s important to her that her children can look up to her and see that she fought for something that she wanted.

And it sounds like Gorga is having similar marital problems like her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice. Apparently, Teresa’s own husband, Joe Giudice, can’t handle his reality, as he’s getting ready to serve time behind bars. As fans have seen on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, he’s drinking more and more, and he’s starting to yell at his children and interfering with his family. The last thing he should be doing is causing problems with the only family he has.

But Melissa Gorga doesn’t have to worry about her husband going to jail for a longer period of time. While Teresa knows that her husband will be going to jail for almost three years, Gorga just has to worry about her husband taking care of their children when she’s at work. As it turns out, she actually found his struggles hilarious when the season started.

“I laughed out loud seeing Joe handle the kids while I was at work. I think it’s safe to say he was being a little dramatic! Sending the kids outside when our backyard was completely under construction –- dirt piles and all — wasn’t the best idea,” Melissa Gorga wrote in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

While Gorga felt that it was funny to watch her husband, it’s clear that he wasn’t happy about her opening up her own store. He was very vocal about this when he visited Gorga at her store. Even though he wasn’t happy about her being away from home, he helped her get settled and even offered to do the construction to transform the space. Melissa opened up about the grand opening of her store in her Bravo blog.

“This episode was a proud moment for me –- Envy is now open! After months of hard work, I am so excited you were able to see how the boutique turned out. I wanted to prove to myself that I can do it all as a mom, wife and now business owner. I could not be more thankful and appreciative of Joe and of the girls for coming out to show their support. The opening was a huge success! I guess it is true, dog poop is good luck,” Melissa Gorga continued in her blog, adding that her husband is indeed a good dad, writing, “Joe’s touching words about my father really meant a lot. I know my father is with me always and that he is proud of all I have done.”
