When Is ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 1 Coming To Netflix?

Will Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 come to Netflix? If so, when will that be? These are big questions that fans are asking right now, especially since the CW has renewed it for Season 2 and made it part of the fall line-up for the 2016-2017 schedule.

Currently, there isn’t a confirmed date or any confirmation that Legends of Tomorrow is coming to Netflix. Chances are that it will, especially considering the exclusive deal that the CW and Netflix now have. Fans would be fuming if the show didn’t make it to the streaming service considering Arrow and The Flash are both there.

While there isn’t a confirmed date, it is likely that Netflix will stream Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 sometime in the first week of October 2016. This is when the majority of Netflix programs are expected to reach the service for the most recent seasons, including The Flash Season 2. Most programs come on the date of the release of the first episode of the newer season, which would suggest that Legends of Tomorrow will hit the streaming service on Thursday, October 6; the same date as the premiere of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2.

The great news is that Season 1 should definitely be available by May 2017. This is because of the current exclusivity deal that takes place later this year. Netflix gets exclusive rights to stream all CW shows eight days after the season finale. This will mean Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 will stream eight days after its season finale, likely in May 2017. It wouldn’t make sense for the service to only make Season 2 available and make viewers go elsewhere for Season 1.

Right now, fans can still catch up on Season 1 if they didn’t tune in from the start. CWTV.com has episodes available. It is also now available on DVD and Blu-ray for those who want to get copies of it.

It is also still currently available on Hulu, but you’ll only have eight more days to watch all the episodes. Because of the Netflix/CW deal, Hulu will have to get rid of the episodes it has—and it only has the most recent five episodes of the program. While this streaming service tried to do a deal with the CW, it ended up completely losing out on the programs.

When Hulu announced that programs would be removed from its service on September 18, there were theories that Netflix would start streaming them from then. None of the CW programs have been included in the September 2016 list for Netflix arrivals, but that doesn’t mean the service won’t surprise fans. Keep an eye out from September 18 to October 6 for the arrival of the first season of Legends of Tomorrow.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 takes fans through different times. It’s almost like a Justice League of America, where various superheroes are brought together to save the world from a powerful evil, according to Netflixable. They are led by Time Master Rip Hunter, who is in the game for selfish reasons, to bring his wife and son back from the dead—or at least stop them from being killed.

Good and bad guys originally from Arrow and The Flash are brought together. Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 should see a four-way crossover with its parent shows and previously-on-CBS show Supergirl later on this year. The most recent trailer has also shown that Damien Darhk will be back, with a focus on the World War II Nazis.

It is very unlikely that Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 won’t come to Netflix. The main question is when it will happen. This is likely to be in October 2016, so there isn’t long to wait now.

Don’t forget to tune in for the Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 premiere on October 6 at 8/7c only on the CW.
