Courtney Stodden, former teen bride and reality star, has become a shell of her former self following her miscarriage. The blonde bombshell has since opened up about her tragedy back in July and how it’s had an effect on her mental state.
If you take a close look at Courtney Stodden’s Instagram page, you will notice that she idolizes Marilyn Monroe. It seems like Stodden mirrors her life after the late sex symbol, who also lived a sad life. Stodden has revealed that she has been feeling “lost” and that she regrets shaving her head shortly after her miscarriage, reported Page Six.
“I’m feeling a little lost right now,” Stodden told Entertainment Tonight. “I thought shaving my head would give me some kind of relief from the pain I’ve been experiencing… but it hasn’t.”
Stodden, 22, shaved off her signature blonde locks in early August. She even starred in a photo shoot that showed off her new look.
Since then, she has been spotted wearing a variety of colorful and fun wigs. But, Stodden has somewhat gone back to her signature look by rocking a platinum blonde wig instead. She explained to Entertainment Tonight that she’s using the wigs as a form of therapy to help find herself again.
“I’m wearing wigs in order to try and make myself feel like I used to feel before all this stuff happened,” she said. “I almost feel like I’m trying to find myself all over again … or maybe find myself for the first time in my life. I don’t know.”
In addition, Stodden’s therapist also suggested that she have a “reborn baby” to help her cope with her loss. She has since taken to Instagram to share photos of the life-like doll and to explain to her fans that it’s to help her cope.
Stodden has also addressed her unborn child on social media, including penning an emotional letter in late July addressed to her “precious angel,” reports the Daily News.
“I never had a chance to hold your tiny hand,” Stodden wrote in the Instagram post. “Never will I get to kiss your little warm feet. Never will I have the fortune to look into your precious eyes.”
Stodden has since been smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol to “numb herself” after her devastating loss. According to The Mirror, Stodden was spotted partying a little too hard outside of the Avalon nightclub last week. Stodden was photographed sipping a glass of champagne as she showed off her curvaceous figure in a black cleavage-baring top and high-waisted shorts. On a previous night out, Stodden wore a curve-hugging red dress with a matching headscarf and platform sandals as she staggered home with a friend.
Then, according to the Hollywood Gossip, Stodden has taken to social media to have random drunken fights with reality stars and celebrities. After she called out Brody Jenner for dissing her, she went after Selena Gomez for some unknown reason. In both videos, Stodden is seen waving around a cigarette and swigging back a glass of wine.
In early August, The Sun published the exclusive photos of Stodden crying and drinking a glass of champagne on a beach in her red and black bikini and matching headscarf. Stodden’s husband, Doug Hutchison, 56, was seen hugging his wife and kissing her, as they sat in the sand and shared a bottle of wine together.
Stodden has openly admitted on Twitter that she’s been drinking a lot more lately to deal with the loss of her unborn baby. Just hours before, she revealed that she was “grieving” and “feeling so empty.” According to another report, via The Sun, Stodden’s fans flocked to her tweet to show their support and concern for the troubled starlet.
Stodden previously revealed that she suffers from depression. Back in May, Stodden announced to Us Weekly that her depression worsened when she was going through her first-ever pregnancy. Stodden also admitted that she takes Xanax to help with her anxiety. Hopefully, Stodden will replace the smoking and drinking with some healthy habits that will help her overcome this terrible loss.
