Jessica Alba Gives Stephen Colbert A Hilarious Hipster Millennial Makeover On The ‘Late Show’ [Video]

Last night, Jessica Alba appeared on The Late Show with host Stephen Colbert to promote her company, the Honest Company. While she was there, the actress gave Colbert a hilarious hipster millennial makeover. Check out the video below.

Colbert began the interview by questioning Alba on the late night talk show about her wrist tattoo.

“That one’s called ‘My First Breakup.’

“It’s a lotus in Sanskrit. It means the manifestation of spiritual beauty.”

Jessica explained that her ex hated tattoos, which sparked her idea to get one after they split.

“He was really anti-tattoos, and I felt like after I broke up with him, I, like, found myself again.

“It’s, like, unnecessary to talk about this. He’s like a famous actor.”

Though the actress did not directly name the actor she was referring to, it is most likely her ex-fiance, Michael Weatherly. The NCIS star met Alba on the set of her TV series Dark Angel.

The former couple got engaged in 2001. They ended their romance in 2003, and she went on to meet her now-husband, Cash Warren.

The Late Show host moved on from questioning the actress to taste-testing the Honest Company’s hair and beauty products.

Jessica watched on in horror and amusement as Colbert sprayed sea salt spray into his mouth while teasing her.

“That’s really salty. Jessica Alba says you can put it on popcorn.”

Alba retaliated by forcing Colbert to undergo a silly looking, hipster millennial makeover.

Prior to her appearance on The Late Show, Jessica Alba posted a makeup tutorial using all of her Honest Beauty products, which are not for eating.

The Honest Company CEO will be appearing on the cover of Shape magazine in their October issue. In the accompanying interview, she talked about her simple beauty routine.

“When it comes to my daily beauty routine, I concentrate on enhancing the features that I like – namely, my eyes. And lips and the tops of my cheekbones.

“I cover up the things I don’t [like], like my dark circles and certain little capillaries. I’ll even do a slightly smoky eye for daytime or a bold lip.”

The actress joked that she goes for the “makeup-no-makeup” look.

Although these days she has kept busy running the Honest Company, she told Colbert that she still takes the time to act in a few fun films.

“It’s not as serious for me.

“Before I was so methodical. I wanted to make sure that it was going to be on a global scale, any movie that I did now I just want to have fun.”

Last month, Alba shined on the cover of Allure magazine for their September Issue.

Jessica was also just recently announced as one of the cast of Apple’s new reality series, Planet of the Apps, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, will.i.am., and tech investor Gary Vaynerchuk.

The premise of the show is to give the next generation of tech creators a platform to shine. The reality series is set to air in the U.S. in 2017. Casting has already begun for contestants.
