Kendall Jenner Gets A Lift From Lyft After She Was Banned From Uber

Kendall Jenner has all the money in the world. She can afford luxury cars and personal drivers. However, sometimes even the world’s most popular model needs help getting around the city.

After Kim Kardashian tweeted that Kendall Jenner was banned from Uber, the model scored free rides for a year with their competitor, Lyft. However, it turns out that Jenner, 20, was not suspended from Uber, according to a company spokesperson who revealed all about the huge misunderstanding in a statement to Entertainment Tonight.

“It was a minor account issue that is being resolved. While it is being resolved her account was put on hold. Uber support has reached out.”

Lyft decided to help Kendall out and offered her free unlimited rides anywhere for the next 12 months, according to TMZ. Kendall was recently named by Forbes as one of the world’s highest-paid models, so she could obviously afford many rides via Lyft or Uber. All was revealed on the reality star’s Snapchat account, of course.

“Hi guys, I just got in my Lyft and I’m so excited. Thank you, Lyft, for the free rides and for taking care of me,” she excitedly told her Snapchat followers on Friday, September 2.

Then, Jenner gave a flirty kiss to the camera as she played with the puppy dog filter in the back of a Lyft vehicle.

Kim Kardashian previously revealed on Twitter and Snapchat that her half-sister was banned from using Uber. The 35-year-old first took to Twitter to exclaim her frustrations about driving Kendall around, reports Just Jared.

“Ugh I have to drive @KendallJenner around tonight bc she’s banned from Uber! Why @Uber?!?! She’s a ‘model’ passenger!!!!!” she tweeted.

Then, she took to her Snapchat account to remark in a video, “She’s suspended. This is not fair…. So we just wanna know, why was Kendall suspended? She’s literally, like, a model passenger…. And now I have to go drive Kendall around town when I have a spray tan that I have to get to and it’s already 11 o’clock at night. Thank you, Uber.”

It seems like Uber wanted to get to the bottom of the problem because the company’s Twitter account tried to get in touch with Kim.

In addition, a source later told Us Weekly that the whole incident was blown out of proportion, stating, “It was a minor issue with her account and it’s been resolved.”

It’s a good thing that Kendall Jenner can now get around thanks to both Uber and Lyft helping her out. The model just posted her exclusive guide to New York City and New York Fashion Week on her website and app, which means she will have to get around a lot. In a new post on her app titled “NYC & Me: A Guide,” Jenner reminisced about her first trip to New York City when she was 12-years-old. Now that she’s much older, she wants to shop at Jeffrey, dine at Carbone, and visit the Museum of Sex, reports Teen Vogue.

“This is going to sound funny; but I’ve always wanted to go to the Museum of Sex,” she admitted. “Maybe next trip.”

Kendall’s favorite thing to do in New York is to simply walk around the city with her friends and people watch, when no one’s watching.

“I love going to Central Park and walking around when no one is following me. Once, I was at the doctor’s office, which was right above the park. I decided to roam after the appointment. No one stalked me because it was so early in the morning, and I was by myself in the rain. I just fully enjoyed the moment. I wasn’t prepared for the rain, but it was so nice. It was freeing.”

Now, when she travels to NYC, she often stays in her sister Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Soho apartment. The couple reportedly has it made when it comes to using Airbnb. According to Elle.com, the couple scored a free stay at a $100,000-per-month Airbnb loft in Manhattan. Even when you’re rich, you can still get access to free things.
