Arnold Schwarzenegger Denies Paying ‘Hush Money’ To Love Child’s Mom

Arnold Schwarzenegger is adamant in his assertion that he never paid his baby mama any type of “hush money” after he fathered a secret love child with her.

Speaking in an interview for 60 Minutes on CBS, Arnold says that he never had a straight-out conversation with Mildred Baena about Joseph but instead just “put things together” and then started sending her money without any request from Mildred.

When asked directly about how he found out about Joseph, he never provided a straight answer to 60 Minutes.

Arnold says Mildred was still working for him at the time of the discovery and that she never questioned why he was sending her money. Arnold admits she “knew what it was about.”

Regardless of the money being sent, Arnold says he never implied and Mildred never assumed it was being used to keep her from telling Maria Shriver about the love child.

Arnold goes so far as to tell everyone to back off from his former housekeeper. Arnold says during his interview:

“Mildred is a good person. She was not out to get me or take advantage of me.”

The scandal, of course, led to the breakup of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s long-time marriage. The couple broke up almost immediately following the former California Governor’s time in office.

Arnold and Maria have both moved on with their lives according to various sources, and Mildred Baena has largely stayed in the shadows, a place she probably wants to be or she would have come forward about the affair years earlier.
