Meghan King Edmonds Reveals What Would Have Made Her Visit Vicki In The Hospital

Meghan King Edmonds was surprised to get a call from Heather Dubrow during Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, as the majority of the cast were in Glamis for a dune buggy weekend to celebrate Eddie Judge’s birthday. Heather was calling Meghan to inform her of the accident that sent both Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson to the hospital, and King Edmonds was shocked over the news. But when Dubrow encouraged her to go visit Vicki in the hospital near her as she had been airlifted, Meghan didn’t seem too excited about the idea.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now opening up about watching the dune buggy accident on television and she’s revealing that she doesn’t feel bad about not rushing to her co-star’s side in the hospital, even though she was airlifted to Palm Springs.

“I honestly can’t believe how horrific the accident was. The most stunning part to me was the silence afterwards. Silence is never a good sign and it was so hard to watch something like that, especially knowing that my friends were involved,” Meghan King Edmonds reveals in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Bravo, revealing that she was happy that she wasn’t in the car with the ladies.

Heather Dubrow was completely shocked when she encouraged Meghan to go to the hospital where Vicki was being airlifted to so she could go be by her side. But King Edmonds didn’t exactly feel up to the challenge, so she hinted that she was busy with something else. Dubrow and Kelly Dodd, who were making the call in hopes of King Edmonds going to the hospital, were shocked.

This argument is something that will surface on next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, as many of the ladies will bring it up with Meghan King Edmonds. However, the two of them are not friends and Meghan doesn’t have any interest in doing favors for someone who may have lied about cancer. In her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan explains that she would have gone to visit Vicki if she had been admitted to the hospital.

“When Heather called to relay the news, you could tell that she was still in shock, so it almost came off a little exaggerated to me. It was pretty hard to gauge the severity of the accident since I wasn’t there, so I’ve been anxious to see it played back on TV. But even then I asked myself if I was in Vicki’s shoes would I want her to visit me in the ER? I said no. I thought I would feel uncomfortable. Now if Vicki was admitted to the hospital I absolutely would’ve stopped by. Thankfully, Vicki was released from the ER only hours later and she and I were texting throughout her time in the hospital. Still, after watching it, I’m shocked and grateful that no one was seriously injured,” Meghan King Edmonds explains in her Bravo blog.

In other words, if Gunvalson had been seriously injured or if she had been admitted to the hospital, King Edmonds would have made the effort to go see her co-star to support her. As she points out in her blog, it was awkward for her to imagine Vicki coming to see her, given their troubled past.

Plus, Vicki is the one who has fueled the divorce rumors that Meghan is now dealing with, as she questioned whether King Edmonds and Jimmy would be married in five years. According to In Touch Weekly, Meghan has been fighting off rumors for months.

What do you think of Meghan King Edmonds’ decision to not visit Vicki in the hospital? Does it make sense given they are not that close?
