‘The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Genoa City Mourns Adam, Phyllis Propositions Billy, And Shockers Are On The Way

This has been an emotional week on The Young and the Restless and spoilers tease that Thursday’s episode is another big one. Many throughout Genoa City have gathered for Adam’s memorial service and Victor seemed on the verge of confessing to all he had done. In addition, Billy and Phyllis have reconnected and there are buzzworthy moments on the way with the September 8 show.

The Young and the Restless spoilers from SheKnows Soaps indicate that Victor will talk about how much his son was like him and he will direct some comments to Chelsea as he speaks. He will talk about how he is to blame for his son’s death, but just as Michael and Kevin wonder if Victor is about to finally admit how he is at fault, Jack interrupts and talks about forgiveness, not being able to control loved ones, and how much he will miss Adam.

Chelsea speaks during the service as well, but Young and Restless spoilers share that she will talk to Connor from the podium. It sounds as if this will be a heartbreaking moment as she tells her son that they will get through this and speaks about how much Adam meant to them. She will also say kind things about Victor and she details that they will be brave just like Connor’s daddy was.

As the service wraps up and people head out, Chloe will get a moment with Victor and ask him why he held back from admitting all he had done. The Young and the Restless spoilers note that he will warn her again about how she had better be telling the truth about not having been at the cabin, making it clear that if he finds out she is lying, there will be hell to pay.

Jill and Victoria will talk for a moment and Young and Restless spoilers share that Victoria will tell Jill that Billy bailed on the trip to Seattle. Naturally, that irritates Jill, especially as she hears that Travis is going on the trip instead at Billy’s insistence. Ashley will question Jack about Phyllis’ absence, and both Ashley and Jill will comment on how little support Phyllis seems to be providing Jack these days, all the while giving plenty of sympathy to Billy.

As viewers know, Billy texted Phyllis and beckoned her to the cabin and she couldn’t resist showing up there. The two were kissing and reconnecting, and Young and Restless spoilers indicate that things will quickly escalate as they push aside the worries about Jill’s blackmail. After they get intimate, she will tell him that she does want to be with him.

However, as Soap Central details, Phyllis will package this desire to be with him within a challenging proposition. Essentially, she will want them to keep their love hidden, carrying on their affair without coming clean to Jack. The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Billy will be resistant to this, believing that it is time to be honest and upfront. However, she claims that the truth would be too hurtful to Victoria and Summer, as he details that he wants her with him all the time, not just during hidden moments. The two will end up getting calls from Jill and Jack, but they ignore them both.

Viewers will see Jill leaving Billy a message, furious with him for bailing on the Brash and Sassy trip. She will push him to head to the airport, while Jack leaves a message with Phyllis asking to meet up. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that the two will reluctantly head back to town and they show up at the top of the tower together.

Victoria and Travis will decompress after the service, talking about all that was shared and preparing for the Seattle trip. Kevin, Chloe, Sharon, and Michael will also talk about the service and Chloe soon makes an excuse and ducks out.

The Young and the Restless spoilers share that the others will question Kevin about the state of things with Chloe, and he will moan about how she is keeping him at a distance. Spoilers note that Chloe will be seen at Delia’s roadside memorial, talking to her daughter about how she ensured that Adam would finally pay for her death.

Victor will grieve in his office as Nick supports Chelsea at the penthouse. Once Nick leaves, she will look back to when she renewed her vows, playing with her ring as she does. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that after that, viewers will see someone wearing black gloves at an unknown place holding Adam’s wedding ring and then putting it into a drawer.

Actor Justin Hartley has confirmed that he has officially left Young and Restless to focus on his new NBC show This Is Us, but many viewers have been convinced that Newman is still alive. Not everybody is happy about this possibility, considering that the character came back from the dead once already and people are leery of having to accept another recast. Is this last scene revealing that Adam did get away from the cabin and is still alive, or will this turn out to be someone else who somehow was involved?
