Ellie Goulding Is Back, And She’s Feeling So Much Better

British singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding made her fabulous return to the music scene when she recently performed live at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago after a brief hiatus.

Earlier, the singer had taken an abrupt break to recuperate from exhaustion caused by the constant traveling during her ongoing “Delirium World Tour.” The “Love Me Like You Do” singer aimed to promote Delirium, her third studio album, by embarking on the world tour that required the singing sensation to perform in 88 cities spread across three continents. However, in the end, the singer could not cope with the physical pressures of performing back-to-back concerts in different time zones. Eventually, she suffered from insomnia.

In addition, Ellie Goulding had been suffering from panic attacks ever since she ended her romantic affair with Dougie Poynter, the English singer who is a member of the band McFly. In fact, the “I Know You Care” singer had resorted to cognitive behavioral therapy in an attempt to recuperate from her depression. The Daily Mail reports that after her breakup, Ellie Goulding had vowed to carry on with her career despite the disappointments in her personal life.

“I’m still going to be writing, but it’s been so overwhelming the past few years that it’s time to go away for a little bit and be out of the limelight.”

However, Ellie Goulding’s condition worsened to such an extent that the singer had to abandon her tour to cater to the health problems that were caused by her severe lack of sleep.

To cope with her problems, the 29-year-old singer retreated to the beautiful location of Saint-Tropez, one of the most beautiful coastal towns on the French Riviera. Ellie Goulding’s recent vacation reportedly helped her to reinvigorate herself by giving her the opportunity to exercise regularly and get her sleeping schedule back on track.

The singer’s vacation appears to have done wonders for her, and the “Under the Sheets” singer looked lively and energetic when she took the stage at Chicago’s Grant Park to perform at the festival. Ellie Goulding made her commanding presence felt on the stage by wearing a sporty look and singing some of her most popular songs.

Wearing a black hooded slip dress and a pair of hot pants that glittered like the sparkling singer, fans could easily make out that the singer had fought her fatigue and that she was feeling much better than she was previously. Some fans noted that her glowing skin and tanned complexion proved that Ellie Goulding’s French vacation had brightened her up with a breeze of enthusiasm.

Ellie Goulding’s live performance at the Lollapalooza festival came a few weeks before the release of her latest number that will appear on the soundtrack for Bridget Jones’s Baby, the latest movie in the Bridget Jones series. Titled “Still Falling For You,” Ellie Goulding’s latest single is a romantic ballad that reflects the giddiness one experiences after falling in love.

According to MTV News, the sounds produced by the electro-acoustic instruments in Ellie Goulding’s new song provide a suitable background score for the perfect romantic moment between two new lovers.

Earlier, the singer had recorded “Love Me Like You Do” that appeared on the soundtrack for Fifty Shades of Grey, the 2015 erotic romantic movie based on the best-selling series of books. Now, Ellie Goulding has released the music video of “Still Falling For You” ahead of the release of Bridget Jones’ Baby. According to Rolling Stone, the music video shows the singer belting out the number while a screen in the background plays scenes from the upcoming movie.
