Kate Middleton Pregnant? Duchess Kate’s Baby Plans Include ‘Normal’ Childhood For Her Children

If the rumors are true that Kate Middleton is pregnant with baby number three, the young Duchess has already prepared her plans for how she and Prince William intend to raise her growing family. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are breaking with tradition and aren’t going to give in to pressure to let their babies go through what the older generations of royals experienced as children.

Kate and William are determined to follow in Diana’s trailblazing footsteps and do everything in their power to make sure the new baby will have a “normal” life.

The Kate Middleton news of pregnancy has been floating around for a while according to Gamenguide, and there doesn’t seem to be any doubt that Kate and William plan to have more children. Royal family fans can’t wait to find out whether or not Kate is expecting a baby now.

In the meantime, Kate is getting in plenty of practice teaching George and Charlotte how to be normal. Headlines and Global News wrote about Kate Middleton’s attitude towards child-rearing, after the Duchess met with the Wadebridge Young Farmers during a royal visit to Cornwall.

The visit was part of the duties that Kate and William undertake regularly, and came about because Prince Charles, William’s father and the heir to the British throne, ordered his son and daughter-in-law to spend some official time touring his Duchy. At the time, many felt that Charles deliberately chose the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death in order to stop Prince William from getting too involved in commemorations of the day his mother died.

That’s the kind of official, strait-laced attitude that Kate and William want to avoid for their own children. Duchess Kate said her babies will be raised differently, with even more normal life than Diana managed for Prince William and Prince Harry. Both Kate and William insist that they want a “low-key childhood for their children.”

Kate’s Middleton family were from the working class and worked hard to join the ranks of the super rich. The Duchess hasn’t forgotten her roots and is already teaching George and Charlotte to roll up their sleeves and dig in when there’s work to be done. Their mom is even “teaching her two children in farm chores.” One of the young farmers at the gathering with Kate remembered the Middletons’ daughter talking about how she takes the little prince and princess around the farm at Sandringham, showing them the chores that have to be done every day.

“She’s been teaching George the difference between barley and wheat and everything they grow on the farm there. She wants the children to learn all about farming and the apples in their orchard.”

Since Kate was a baby, she always wanted to be a farmer, and that’s still the job she’d do if she wasn’t “already busy in her role as the Duchess of Cambridge.”

It’s not likely that George, Charlotte, or Kate’s new baby will have a chance to farm full-time either, but as their parents move further and further from the “stiffness of royal family lifestyle,” there might be a chance for them. Diana was the first royal to be so “reachable to ordinary people despite her royal status” and Kate is doing a great job keeping William in touch with reality too.

There are lots of reports from observant fans that Kate Middleton’s baby bump is showing, and the timing would be just about right. William and Kate’s first baby, Prince George, was born on July 22, 2013, Princess Charlotte made her appearance May 4, 2015, and if Kate is pregnant now with a baby due in the winter of 2017, that would make total sense on the baby-planning calendar.

It would also make sense that they’d be going to visit their granny, to break the pregnancy news, and right now William and Kate are on their way to visit the Queen at Balmoral. Hello Magazine reports that Kate, William, baby Charlotte, and George are planning to “enjoy some private time” with the Queen and Prince Philip while they get away from it all at the “sprawling” Scottish estate.

A third pregnancy would make Kate even more determined to keep life normal and simple for her children. What do you think? Is it reasonable for a member of the British Royal family to expect a low-key life?
