Miley Cyrus Mocks Adam Levine On ‘The Voice,’ Teases Blake Shelton: Has Feud Hit High Note?

Miley Cyrus is joining the coach line-up on The Voice for Season 11. And while Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are accustomed to captivating audiences with their bromance buddy banter, the two seasoned coaches may have more than they ever anticipated with the “Wrecking Ball” singer joining them.

In addition, for the first time a second female coach, Alicia Keys, is on tap to tune up the contenders. And while all that sounds exciting, what’s happening when the cameras are turned off just might be even more intriguing.

Us Weekly served up a preview that featured the teasing style that the coaches have adapted to try to outdo each other. Adam attempted to get a contestant to join Team Levine, but Miley threw a wrecking ball into his ploys.

“I know how to win this show,” insisted Adam. “I’ve won three times.”

Cyrus, 23, quickly did the math, then challenged the 37-year-old competitive coach.

“You’ve won three times? We’re on the eleventh season. It’s basic math,” quipped Miley.

But that didn’t stop Levine from tossing the ball right back in her court.

“Three out of 10 is 30 percent; I’ll take it,” he retorted.

Up popped Blake, famous for enjoying teasing Adam. The four-time winner of The Voice joined Cyrus in teasing Levine.

“She’s so right. I’m so happy right now,” joked Shelton.

But why stop at the stage? Cyrus also decided that she wanted to flaunt her creativity with her very own water cup, disdaining the one offered.

“This one is boring,” proclaimed Miley. “I want, like, a rainbow cup.”

Adam attempted to silence the request.

“No, no, no,” insisted Cyrus’ nemesis.

But Alicia, 35, and Blake were on board with the concept.

“I think you should bring your own cup,” encouraged Alicia.

“Bedazzle it,” urged Shelton.

While the teasing between Miley and Blake was friendly, the ongoing feud between Cyrus and Levine seems to have hit a high note, with a Voice insider telling Radar Online that the tension between the two is noticeable.

“Adam and Miley are at each other’s throats this season.”

In addition, when the cameras are turned off, the experienced coach reportedly seems to show his dislike for the 23-year-old singer.

“Adam acts like he cannot stand her,” said the source. “He does not talk to her when the cameras are not rolling, and seems like he really wants nothing to do with her.”

Radar also reports that Levine has had issues with nearly every new coach on past seasons of The Voice, but the insider contends that the feud this time around is noticeably different because of Cyrus’ behavior.

“Miley showed up like she owned the place and Adam seems just really tired of her interjecting every single time he is speaking!” added the insider.

“This feud is different!”

Despite Radar‘s allegation that Levine has had some sort of bone to pick with almost every new coach in the history of the show, the source revealed that he and Alicia Keys have formed a strong bond. The reason for their friendship, however, reportedly has to do with their united front against Cyrus.

“Alicia has taken Adam’s side in his stance against Miley,” clarified the insider. “They have kind of made a pact to help each other out and side with each other to make sure that Team Miley does NOT win this season!”

Although Blake seems to be steering clear of all these reported feuds and pursuing his passion for teasing banter with the other coaches, Hollywood Life cites a source who claims Shelton’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani is cautious when it comes to the country crooner’s relationship with Cyrus.

Blake and Gwen are reportedly planning their wedding, and when it comes to the guest list, past and present coaches including Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, and Christina Aguilera are welcome. But Stefani is snubbing Cyrus, claims the insider.

“[Blake] is friendly to everyone, and Gwen wants to make sure that Miley doesn’t misinterpret that as something else.”

The source also noted that Stefani is determined to ensure that Cyrus does not “get flirty” with Shelton.
