Beyonce was getting groovy and grinding with her hubby Jay Z at her Soul Train-themed 35th birthday party on Monday night, September 5.

Beyonce and Jay Z dressed up in their ’70s best and busted out their best moves on the dance floor.

Beyonce took center stage in a sparkling one-leg jumpsuit and high platform heels. Jay Z, also dressed in disco gear, made his way towards his wife as she proceeded to grind him seductively before twirling away into the crowd.

The singer later changed into a pair of hot pants and stood at the front of the crowd as a huge cake with sparklers was brought out.

Beyonce and Jay Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, was also in attendance at the Soul Train party. She won over the hearts of the crowd as she grabbed the mic to wish her famous mommy a Happy Birthday.

Beyonce made a quick speech thanking all of her guests for celebrating with her. Blue can be seen swiping a finger full of icing while her mother is speaking.

Beyonce’s Soul Train birthday bash was filled with A-list celebrity friends, including Destiny’s Child member and longtime friend of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland.

Her close friend, Usher, was in attendance and was photographed getting goofy with Jay Z in their Afro wigs.

Chance the Rapper made his way to the Soul Train party to celebrate with Beyonce and Jay Z. The hip-hop couple had been in attendance for Chance’s set at the Made In America music festival earlier that weekend where he had sung “Happy Birthday” to Beyonce on stage.

Chance tweeted a video of a couple party-goers getting silly on the dance floor.

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz got in Soul Train-mode for their friend Beyonce’s party.

Beyonce danced the night away to the sounds of Mary J. Blige with her closest friends and family.

Beyonce and Blue danced together to “Work It Out.” Blue Ivy shook what her mama gave her as she sported a disco Afro wig on her head and flared hippy pants.

Kendrick Lamar made an appearance at the Soul Train party. Beyonce worked with Kendrick on her song “Freedom” from her latest album Lemonade.

Diddy and Cassie got down in the kitchen with the cooks and posed for a photo at the party. Diddy got into his look with a center-part wavy wig and disco shirt.

Beyonce posed for a snap with music producer, Detail, whom Beyonce worked with on her track “Drunk In Love.”

Other A-list celebs who came out on Monday for Bey’s Soul Train birthday party included model Chanel Iman, Carmelo and La La Anthony, former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams, and singer Janelle Monae, per US Weekly.

Beyonce’s sister Solange was of course in attendance for the big birthday bash. She posted a video of her husband, Alan Ferguson, and Beyonce dancing with champagne and sparklers.

Prior to her Soul Train party, Beyonce kicked off her birthday weekend by flying to Camp David in Maryland with Blue Ivy to spend some time with first lady Michelle Obama and her daughters, Sasha and Malia.

On Sunday, September 4, Beyonce’s actual birthday, the singer and her husband attended the Budweiser Made In America Festival in Philadelphia.

Beyonce was seen chatting with former president Bill Clinton. Malia Obama also attended the festival that day and the two gave each other a quick hug when they spotted each other in the crowd. President Obama’s daughter sported a t-shirt that read “Smoking Kills” along with a Harvard baseball cap.

Beyonce thanked all of her friends and fans on Instagram with a heartfelt post.
