Shannon Beador Says Moving Was A Disaster: Did This Move Test Her Marriage?

Shannon Beador told Tamra Judge that she did not want to go to Glamis with the ladies on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Beador said that her doctor had given her advice to stay home since the sand and dust could be an issue for her due to her lung issues. However, Beador had a valid reason to stay home. She and David Beador had received an offer on their home, and they decided to accept it. For a while, Shannon had been talking about downsizing their home for a while and after several failed escrows, she and David decided to act on an offer.

According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador is now revealing that she did start to procrastinate a bit when she accepted the offer. She asked her real-estate agent if they could postpone the possession date, so they could spend some time cleaning up everything, but he advised them to push forward and get it done quickly. And since they had lost several offers already, Beador wanted to move forward.

“A lot has happened since my vow renewal and I literally feel like I am in a whirlwind! We received an offer on our home right as we were taking off on the plane to Cabo San Lucas and after much deliberation on the trip, we decided to accept the offer right before we left to come home. For us, the timing was another sign from above that we were to continue on with God’s plan and start fresh with many aspects of our lives,” Shannon Beador reveals in her blog for Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County, sharing that they did accept the offer on their way home from the second honeymoon.

Beador may have hoped that the escrow could have been longer, so they had time to pack their home without it being a stressful affair. But the couple got 13 days to pack everything down. But as Shannon revealed during the episode, the people who had bought the home had also purchased some of their furniture. In other words, Shannon Beador didn’t need to pack everything.

“That being said, the offer on our home was a short escrow which was quite stressful. I can be a procrastinator and I continually tried to reassure myself that somehow we could pack up a 13,500 square foot home, find somewhere else to live (with parameters that I now know seem a bit much!), and furnish it all within a two week period. Having an amazing broker like John Cain gave me reassurance, but bottom line, there is a lot to do. You will soon get a glimpse into that disaster!” Shannon Beador revealed in her Bravo blog, sharing that the next few episodes will be dramatic and chaotic.

So, will Shannon’s marriage be affected during this stressful move? Well, since David made the effort to plan out the vow renewal and the second honeymoon, it sounds like Beador may be more forgiving and willing to move past the small stuff. According to Heavy, David’s affair lasted for eight months, and it took quite the toll on their marriage. But Shannon didn’t want to become a statistic and get divorced in Orange County. Instead, she’s working hard on fixing her relationship and it sounds like moving into a smaller home may be the next chapter for them. Based on recent social media posts, it sounds like things are going great between them.
