Meghan King Edmonds’ Pregnancy: Are People Tired Of Her IVF Storyline On ‘RHOC’?

Meghan King Edmonds is thrilled that she’s pregnant after her first IVF attempt. It’s no secret that Meghan really wanted to have a child of her own, and since Jimmy Edmonds had gotten a vasectomy after his fourth child, Meghan had to undergo IVF using his frozen sperm to have a child. He really wanted a son, and Meghan did everything possible to make that happen. But as fans learn on The Real Housewives of Orange County, King Edmonds is expecting a baby girl. She’s currently six months pregnant.

According to a new tweet, Meghan King Edmonds is now facing some criticism for sharing so much of her journey. Of course, many people find that her IVF journey is very inspirational, but some people are tired of seeing so many doctor appointments and trips to the fertility clinic. But when Meghan finally got the phone call about the positive pregnancy test, she was psyched.

“Loved seeing you find out you were preg!!” one person wrote to King Edmonds, who replied with, “I teared up watching it back.”

During the episode, Meghan was super excited to get a phone call from the doctor, but her husband seemed less excited. While Jimmy did say that he didn’t want to cry when he got the results, he didn’t show much support to King Edmonds when she got the results she had hoped for. And this seems to be a common theme for Meghan, as she’s had to go through this pregnancy alone. Jimmy has been criticized for not being involved in the process or being interested in having another child. So fans are seeing this journey through Meghan’s eyes, which includes plenty of terror over needles.

“Zomg! I can’t with Meghan King Edmonds medical issues. Home girl is such a p*ssy #RHOC,” one person wrote to Meghan, who replied with, “Medical issues? I was trying to get pregnant.”

“Some people don’t get how fragile pregnancy is. Especially when you’ve gone through so much to make it happen. I’m w you!” one person wrote in defense of King Edmonds, adding, “Fear of needles is real. Being emotional [from] hormones is real. Folks hiding behind computer screens are, sadly, real.”

Of course, King Edmonds has revealed that she’s felt pregnant as soon as the embryos were implanted. She had a girl and a boy implanted and during Vicki Gunvalson’s birthday party, Meghan was convinced that she could feel them both in her body. Of course, this happened just days prior, so they laughed at her when she said that she felt pregnant already. Even though the embryos were tiny and small, she claims that she felt them in her stomach.

“I know the girls were laughing when I said I thought I was pregnant, but I swear I thought I felt my babies implant! My girl was more developed than my boy when they were transferred and that’s why I thought she implanted first. Looking back, I think I felt a leftover twinge from my left ovary (I had a couple cysts that burst which is common). As for my boy, I now think that was actually my girl implanting because the placenta was in the exact place I felt it. I don’t think my baby boy ever implanted,” Meghan King Edmonds wrote in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County a few weeks ago.

What do you think of Meghan King Edmonds sharing her journey on The Real Housewives of Orange County? Do you think she’s sharing too much or do you think she’s just being honest about what it takes to get pregnant through IVF?
