Vicki Gunvalson Scared She Was Paralyzed: ‘RHOC’ Cast Could Have Died In Accident

Vicki Gunvalson felt it would be a good idea for her to go to Glamis with her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars, as they were extending an olive branch to her. Gunvalson had been left out of many things that the women did, because they felt that she wasn’t being honest about some of the things that happened last year on The Real Housewives of Orange County. While Tamra Judge had decided to forgive and forget, many of her other co-stars were less than forgiving. And Gunvalson believes that Shannon Beador decided to stay home because she didn’t want to be confronted by Vicki.

According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson is now reflecting on the trip to Glamis – both the good and the bad. Vicki seems to be changing her mind about Meghan King Edmonds, especially when it comes to her decisions. While Vicki didn’t appreciate the way Meghan questioned Brooks Ayers last year, she is very happy for her as they are now expecting a baby. In the media, Vicki Gunvalson has been very supportive of King Edmonds and her decision to undergo IVF to get pregnant.

“When I found out that Meghan wasn’t coming, I actually understood and in hindsight was thankful she didn’t. In regards to Shannon, I figured she’d find a way to get out of going and I was right. I call “BS” on her pulmonary doctor saying he didn’t want her to go,” Vicki Gunvalson explains in her blog for Bravo, adding about Beador, “Hindsight, it was a good decision made by Shannon not to go because we all just wanted to have a nice time with no drama. For some reason I just think we would have continued to have unresolved issues which would have put a huge damper on the trip.”

Of course, one of the main parts of last night’s episodes had to do with the sand dune accident. The ladies were having fun in the dunes, when the vehicle they were on suddenly flipped upside down. All of the ladies have revealed that it was scary and that they are thankful to even be alive today. Vicki Gunvalson reveals that she immediately felt neck pain and that she was concerned about possibly being paralyzed.

“When we went over the top of the dune, it appears that the wheels hit the sand dune side ways and then ended up rolling over and down the hill. I just remember sand flying in my face, loud crunching of metal and all of us screaming and then I had immediate pain in my back and neck. I felt it was happening in slow motion, and thought we were never going to stop rolling,” Vicki Gunvalson explains in her blog for Bravo, adding, “Looking back now almost four months later, it was THE scariest time in my life.”

Heather Dubrow was able to leave the vehicle and call for EMT to get there to help out the ladies. According to PEOPLE magazine, they were treated at the scene, but Vicki and Tamra were taken to the hospital. Even though there was no blood present, some serious issues could have happened internally. After the accident, Judge was laying on the ground, practically unresponsive and Gunvalson had a neck injury. Gunvalson was airlifted to a nearby hospital and treated for trauma.

What did you think of this scary incident? Do you think Vicki Gunvalson is lucky to be alive considering the injuries she sustained? And do you think this accident could possibly bring the ladies closer together as they now have this in common?
