Katie Holmes And Tom Cruise Divorce Settlement Forbidding Holmes To Date Foxx?

Katie Holmes, the beautiful actress, mother and ex-wife to Tom Cruise, has made headlines in recent months for an ongoing secretive romance with actor and singer Jamie Foxx. The two have never officially owned up to the relationship, but it was first reported on as far back as 2013. Since this point, there have been numerous occasions that the pair has been spotted in one another’s company, and most recently, the two have been the subject of engagement and baby rumors. The pair has continued to deny that they are an item and new information points at Katie’s ex and her divorce settlement as the reason behind the denials.

A recent update, as Movie News Guide shares, states that Tom and Katie have a divorce settlement in place that forbids the actress from dating for a period following the split. Such a claim says that in their agreement, Holmes is not to date publicly until 2017. In addition to not dating any other man five years after their divorce, the settlement also apparently states that Katie is not to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri Cruise.

The rumors also suggest that Katie was so keen to see the demise and end to the marriage that she fully agreed to all of these ridiculous terms insisted upon by Tom Cruise. Gossip Cop relays the words of the tabloid which ignited this rumor.

“Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms,” adds the magazine’s source, who further contends the actress could lose her multi-million dollar divorce settlement if she were to violate the alleged contract.

The question is, is there any truth to these claims about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s settlement agreement? According to Gossip Cop, the allegations are baseless and false. The rumors are simply a concoction of an unreliable tabloid and their unreliable sources.

“Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ divorce settlement does NOT include a clause forbidding the actress from dating, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s ‘false.'”

The mystery in regards to Holmes and Foxx and their speculated romance is still one that has yet to be fully verified or stamped out as false. There have been conflicting reports that suggest the two are, in fact, a couple. One rumor that is certainly untrue involves the pregnancy claim. Holmes is definitely not pregnant, and there is no wedding being planned by the pair.

The information that has surfaced about Katie and Jamie quite possibly actually being together is tough to ignore seeing as it is Katie and Jamie’s own group of friends that have stated that the two are getting closer to the point where they may be comfortable enough to go public.

After the media circus that constantly surrounded Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, it’s likely that the beauty is simply preferring her time away from the spotlight. The former couple was at one point the it-couple of Hollywood, and it was possibly a bit too much too soon for the former Dawson’s Creek teen star.

If she and Foxx are, in fact, enjoying a private relationship, they are doing a remarkable job of keeping it that way. Earlier this year there were even reports made that Katie Holmes would wear disguises and hats to remain incognito when she would head out to meet the Django Unchained star. There had been talk additionally about Cruise potentially being non-supportive of the union seeing as he and Foxx have been co-stars and friends for years. This claim has been verified as untrue, and Tom is in no way in objection to Holmes spending time with the actor.
