Lamar Odom Is ‘Spiraling Out Of Control,’ Source Claims He Has A ‘Death Wish’
Lamar Odom is reportedly playing with fire when it comes to his alleged drug and alcohol use.
Following a drug overdose in October of last year, Lamar Odom has reportedly relapsed and is now in New York City, where he is reportedly “spiraling out of control.”
“Nearly a year after the drug overdose and seizure that nearly killed him, Lamar Odom appears to be getting worse,” Starcasm revealed to readers on September 3.
According to the report, Lamar Odom’s friends and family fear that his drug use is accelerating as he nears the possible end of his battle with addiction. In recent weeks, Lamar Odom has been accused of public marijuana use, a drunken incident on a plane, which resulted in him being kicked off of the flight, and a rowdy night at a strip club in Queens, New York.

On October 13, 2015, Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, where he had reportedly been partying for days with a number of women staffers.
After hearing news of her husband’s hospitalization, Khloe Kardashian, who filed for divorce from the former NBA player nearly two years prior, boarded a private jet and flew to Lamar Odom’s side to be with him as he recovered.
Although Lamar Odom’s prognosis was dire at first, he ultimately awoke from his coma and was transferred to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he remained for about three months. From there, Lamar Odom continued his recovery as he moved to Calabasas, California, to be closer to the Kardashian family.
For several months, Lamar Odom and his estranged wife were rumored to be back together. Then, during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the couple discussed the idea of a second wedding. However, as Lamar Odom allegedly began drinking again, they went their separate ways for good and she refiled her divorce documents.

As Lamar Odom reportedly continues on with his hard-partying ways, his soon-to-be ex-wife and ex-girlfriend, Liza Morales, the mother of his two children, are said to be preparing for his potential death.
“[Khloe Kardashian] let it slip that her family has prepared a statement to be released if [Lamar Odom] dies,” a source revealed to In Touch Weekly last month. “She thinks it’s only a matter of time until he has a fatal overdose, and she told [his ex-wife and baby mama] Liza Morales she needs to prepare herself for that, too.”
According to the source, Lamar Odom’s health is in jeopardy because “his kidneys never fully recovered from the overdose, and doctors have told him that going back to his old lifestyle will guarantee his death.”
“It’s like [Lamar Odom] has a death wish,” the source added.
Lamar Odom and his ex-girlfriend, Morales, share two children together, Destiny and Lamar Jr., and after his overdose, the family rushed to his side. Since then, reports have suggested that the family, including his aunt, JaNean Mercer, attempted to stage an intervention for Lamar Odom, but unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned. As Us Weekly revealed at the time, the family planned for an intervention in late July but after one of Lamar Odom’s childhood friends tipped him off, he allegedly fled his New York City hotel room.
“They are so upset,” a source told the magazine in regard to the feelings of Lamar Odom’s children. “The kids really wanted the intervention to happen… Everyone wants Lamar to get help.
