Victoria’s Secret To Open Store In Cowboys Stadium

Cowboys officials will be on hand at the stadium a few hours early for Dallas’ Monday night game against the Chicago Bears, but the meeting has nothing to do with football — unless your a Cowboy fan needing apparel to try out for the Lingerie Football League.

Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones has done just about everything in Dallas’ giant, roof-retracting, speaker-blaring cathedral to the game of football, and now Shutdown Corner reports he’s adding a Victoria’s Secret store in the stadium. There will be a ceremonial ribbon cutting to open the first in-stadium Victoria’s Secret store, and among those in attendance will be Victoria’s Secret Pink models Elsa Hosk and Jessica Har

“We think it’s cute as a bug and very in place to show it and sell it out there,” Jones told a Texas radio station on Friday, according to the Detroit Free Press.

While one might not think that its a good idea to open a women’s underwear store in a football stadium, Forbes consistently ranks the Cowboys as one of the most valuable sports franchises, so the eccentric Jones knows what he’s doing.

And, of course, the store will feature plenty of merchandise with a Dallas Cowboy’s theme. It wasn’t clear if Dallas Cowboy cheerleader outfits would be for sale, but its not a leap to imagine something similar available for purchase.

The store will be will be located on the main concourse club area above Entry A in Cowboys Stadium and while both teams are off to a solid 2-1 start, you can be sure if the Monday Night Football game turns into a blowout, there will be plenty of fans heading over that way to check out the new Victoria’s Secret store.
