“Many players in the squad have gushed over his leadership qualities but the Chelsea man has more than that in his arsenal. It is expected that he will play a free role in the team under Rohr.”

The match may be the perfect opportunity for the Super Eagles to regain their footing and build some momentum toward the World Cup qualifying matches. The Nigerian team has not lost in their last seven matches against Tanzania, with four wins and three draws.
