Favre destroys Vikings locker room

Before any of this mess started, many NFL reporters had the Minnesota Vikings picked to have a very good season. With a n excellent defense and strong running game it seemed the at the Vikings had the inside track for a strong Super Bowl run. Enter one Brett Favre, and it looks like this team is unraveling before our very eyes.

While the rest of the team was a t training camp, living in dorms, Favre was at home living the good like with his family. While the Coaching staff is asking the other members of this team to sacrifice, to sell out for the team, the Head Coach of this team is picking Favre up from the airport.

This is a team that made a trade to get QB Sage Rosenfels in the off season, and then sold out both of their QB’s with a long courtship with the aging Favre. This is the same pattern we saw last year when Favre was with the Jets. Some players thought he gave them a good shot at winning, some didn’t, and some were upset over the special treatment.

The real problem here is there is 79 guys on the roster right now, all being asked to put team first. 52 of those men will make the 2009 Vikings roster and be asked to sacrifice for the team for the entire season, unless they are named Brett Favre.
