‘Hot Mess’ Dorinda Medley Leaving ‘RHONY’? She Is ‘Furious’ Drug Abuse Claims Made It On Air

Dorinda Medley’s time on the Real Housewives of New York might be coming to an end. During the dramatic Season 8 reunion, Bethenny Frankel accused Medley of using cocaine. Medley is “furious” with Frankel, but is her anger enough motivation to leave RHONY for good?

An inside source told Radar Online that Medley is worried about how the drug rumors will hurt her public image.

“Dorinda wants to build her brand, and this isn’t the reputation she wants,” the insider revealed. “These women just like to attack any way they can.”

Medley came under fire early this season because of her boyfriend, John Mahdessian. As fans will recall, Frankel slammed Mahdessian at the beginning of Season 8, and even made comments about him “blowing some lines” and “doing some rails.”

Needless to say, the exchange didn’t go over well with Medley. While Medley defended her boyfriend’s actions, she almost quit the show in the face of all the drama.

Despite the controversial season, it doesn’t sound like Medley is going to leave RHONY anytime soon.

“Dorinda went back and forth,” the insider said. “But she’s definitely coming back next season. She’s not going anywhere.”

Meanwhile, Frankel wasn’t the only Housewife cast member who accused Medley of drug use. The Daily Mail reports that Sonja Morgan also broached the subject during the reunion and isn’t ready to back down.

During a heated exchange with Medley, Morgan told her, “Everybody knows you do drugs! Everybody knows!”

While Medley denied using illegal drugs, Morgan slammed Medley in her official Bravo blog, calling her out for lying about the cocaine use.

“Nobody defended Dorinda regarding drug use and they party with her allllll the tiiiiiiime,” Morgan wrote.

Of course, Dorinda Morgan clarified that she doesn’t mind if someone “does drugs, drinks too much at parties, is an alcoholic, speaks inappropriately when not drinking, sleeps with married men or just for sex and not working towards marriage, is the best in business, just enjoys their business, or has no business to really speak of.”

Morgan does, however, draw the line when it comes to lying.

“However, I hate a liar,” she added. “Don’t manipulate the facts and be a hypocrite, because it always comes out in the wash.”

For her part, Medley refused to admit to her drug use during the reunion. When Frankel suggested that Medley used cocaine, she angrily shot back, “Why are you insinuating that you know I do drugs? I don’t…”

Although Medley offered a few excuses why she couldn’t possibly do drugs — one of them being the fact that Hannah is living with her — the other cast members did not come to her defense.

According to Reality Tea, Morgan also took issue with how Medley decided to remove her from the Berkshires trip. Medley assured Morgan that she was only protecting her from the drama, but Medley was having none of it.

“After seeing the dry cleaner party that went off the rails bad from soup to nuts again during the reunion, I really have to ask once again: Dorinda was protecting me from what in the Berkshires?” Morgan wrote on her blog. “The same drama I have been dealing with since way before her? She was not protecting me. She was dividing me from my group.”

Morgan also slammed Medley for acting as the mediator in the group. Despite the bad blood, Morgan admitted that she still sees Medley as a friend and defended her relationship with Mahdessian.

Fans can watch the drama continue to unfold when the next half of the Real Housewives of New York reunion airs Wednesday night on Bravo.
