Reese Witherspoon Takes Police Escort To Coldplay Concert, Shows Off Her Many Pets, And Announces New Project

Reese Witherspoon cannot attend concerts without police escorts, according to the Daily Mail. The 40-year-old actress feels unprotected when she goes to such public and crowded places as musical concerts.

Last weekend, Reese Witherspoon attended Coldplay’s concert at The Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, but she didn’t feel safe alone, so she took a group of friends as well as a police escort with her.

Reese Witherspoon was one of the most recognizable celebrities at the venue, but she was one of the few who chose to have her own law enforcement vanguard. The Legally Blonde actress also took her 12-year-old son Deacon with her, which could be the reason why she was so protective.

For the concert of the English band, Reese Witherspoon opted for black jeans and a white lace top, which she complemented with a VIP access combo. In fact, the 40-year-old actress was the only celebrity at the venue who flashed the VIP access in front of reporters.

Reese Witherspoon was far from the only celebrity to attend Coldplay’s gig last weekend, as Chloe Grace Moretz also showed up and flashed her stunning legs in a black dress and a long black coat. However, Moretz didn’t take boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham with her this time.

In other news, Reese Witherspoon was rooting for the United States Olympic Team this summer, according to the Daily Mail. Last weekend, the actress shared a patriotic tribute to the national team with the help of her dog Pepper.

Reese Witherspoon, who was born in Nashville, took to Instagram to let her 12.1 million followers know that she and her cute pooch Pepper had been inspired by the U.S. team at this year’s Olympics in Rio.

Reese Witherspoon adopted Pepper, a gray French Bulldog, on April 24, which is a little more than four months ago. The actress also has a Labrador Retriever called Hank, a German Shepherd called Nash, and a Bull Terrier called Lou Ann.

During her 2010 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Reese Witherspoon also shared that the list of the pets she owns doesn’t end with just dogs.

“I have two pigs, and I have three goats, and I have twenty chickens… I have two donkeys, a horse, I have three dogs.”

In September, Reese Witherspoon will celebrate the four thanksgiving birthday of her son Tennessee with her second husband, Jim Toth, whom she married in 2011. The Hot Pursuit actress also has daughter Ava, who turns 17 in September, and son Deacon, 12, with her first husband Ryan Phillippe.

In other news, last week it was reported that Reese Witherspoon and fellow actress Nicole Kidman’s production companies had won the film rights to Liane Moriarty’s new novel Truly Madly Guilty.

When it comes to staying in perfect shape at the age of 40 and having given birth to three children, Reese Witherspoon sure knows the secret, according to the Daily Mail. The Wild actress was spotted with a healthy juice drink in her hand on her way to yoga class earlier this week.

In order to show her best performance at the yoga class, Reese Witherspoon opted for a gray cut-off T-shirt, which emphasized her toned arms. The actress complemented the look with a pair of black leggings and pink trainers.

Reese Witherspoon, who has been nominated for an Oscar twice and won one for her role in Walk the Line in 2006, is currently busy working on her new TV project titled Big Little Lies.

Big Little Lies is based on the novel written by Liane Moriarty, and Witherspoon is set to star alongside Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgard, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, and Zoe Kravitz.
