‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Billy Flynn On Chad DiMera’s Struggles — Will He Compromise With Jennifer?

Days Of Our Lives spoilers have not concentrated too much on Chad DiMera this week. However, actor Billy Flynn had an interview. During the conversation, he revealed Chad’s struggles. Also, will he compromise with Jennifer when it comes to baby Thomas?

Earlier this week, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) once again pleaded with Chad to give her custody of Thomas. She definitely has some nerve, especially since she relapsed the day before. Jennifer claims she doesn’t want to take Thomas away, but she has told others that she wants permanent custody, not temporary guardianship. During the conversation, Chad and Jennifer started to raise their voices. It was then that Abigail’s mother finally admitted she blames Chad for the young woman’s hospitalization and death.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers tease that Chad is going to continue having a rough time. In an interview with CBS Soaps In Depth, Billy Flynn revealed some insight into his character.

“Sometimes you have to know when what you’re doing is causing more damage than good. You’ll see him fight with the notion of, ‘Is being controlling and not giving up my son [and compromising with Jennifer] the best thing for him?'”

It seems that viewers will see a lot of back and forth with Chad DiMera. He has lost so much in such a short period of time. On top of it all, he also has to deal with Jennifer trying to take Thomas away. While Abigail’s mom is surrounded by friends and family, nobody is really there for Chad. Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) brought this up and she is right. Someone should be checking up on Chad and offering him some help.

On a recent episode of Days Of Our Lives, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Adrienne (Judi Evans) tried to talk Jennifer out of fighting for custody. Not only do they recognize that she is being abrupt and harsh, but Jennifer is in no shape to care for an infant. The woman had a relapse recently and can’t even take care of herself right now. Eventually, Jennifer admitted this, but doesn’t know what to do about Thomas.

Why hasn’t anyone considered joint custody? It is clear that Chad loves Thomas. His behavior is from grief and is understandable. Jennifer keeps saying she just wants Thomas to be safe, but that isn’t quite true. She just wants to hurt Chad the way she is hurting from Abigail’s death. Even though Jennifer shouldn’t be alone with Thomas right now, it is surprising that nobody has mentioned joint custody during this entire custody battle.

It turns out that Chad may have someone witness him as a father. This could either help or hurt him in court, depending on what they observe. Days Of Our Lives spoilers from Billy Flynn’s interview reveal that Lucas and Adrienne will move into the DiMera mansion. The couple will help Chad with taking care of baby Thomas. Since Lucas and Adrienne appear to be neutral, they would make two great witnesses on how Chad really is as a father, if he is stable, or if there are any parenting concerns.

As for the custody battle, what will Chad DiMera decide to do? Will he compromise with Jennifer Horton? Or will he fight to keep custody of Thomas?
