Girly Girl Ariana Grande Shares Some Of Her Beauty Secrets
There is no doubt that Ariana Grande is a girly girl. Her wardrobe is almost always filled with feminine outfits, lace details, and plenty of pink. The pint-size singer is sharing some of her beauty secrets, some of which may surprise you.
Ariana Grande, 23, is revealing how she looks picture-ready at all times. The “Side to Side” singer recently wowed her fans with her flawless skin when she stepped onto the 2016 MTV VMAs white carpet. Now, Grande is admitting that she sticks to the same basic beauty routine that she’s had since her teenage years, reports Hello! Magazine.
“It doesn’t matter if I exfoliate or if I’m too tired – as long as my make-up is off, I’m fine,” she recently told Byrdie. The “Dangerous Woman” singer then revealed her must-have product that’s in her beauty regimen.
“You know what I actually use on my face as well as my body? I feel like people would think it would make you break out, but it doesn’t make you break out: coconut oil! Like, cooking oil. I put it everywhere – in my hair, on my body. It’s the answer.”
However, Grande cautioned her fans who are curious to try it out. “If you try this and then you break out, I apologize from the bottom of my heart. Disclaimer!”
Like most pop stars, Grande’s look has evolved over the years. She has stepped away from the floral print dresses and opted for sexier silhouettes. But unlike most other pop stars, Grande has never given up her signature high ponytail, false eyelashes, and cat eye makeup, reports the Belfast Telegraph. Grande doesn’t hide the fact that she wears false eyelashes and eyelash extensions.
“I love lashes. I feel like I could be completely naked but have lashes, and I’d be fine. Like, I’ll forget! Just walk out naked and completely forget.”
The singer says that she will use MAC’s Haute & Naughty mascara, which gives her clean and clump-free look. Other times, Grande will wear just mascara with false eyelashes. Grande also spoke to Byrdie about her signature ponytail and how it makes her happy every time she wears it. She doesn’t care if her haters don’t like her hairstyle, reports Us Weekly.
“S***, you don’t like my ponytail? I’m gonna have it two times bigger tomorrow, and higher, tighter, more hair in there too!” she fired back at her critics. “S***, I’ll crimp it! You ain’t seen a crimp like this in 20 years!”
Grande has been rocking crimped hair on her Dangerous Woman Tour, which you will find out how to do-it-yourself. The singer then explained that there are so many ways to style a ponytail.
“I feel like there’s a thousand different ways to do a ponytail. A million! It brings me so much joy, honestly. Every time I put my hair up, it’s like a surprise. Like, I forget how much I love it, and then I tie it back and I’m like, ‘I love this look! Ooh, girl!’ Every time I tie it up is like the first time. It’s like true love.”
In her new music video for “Side to Side” featuring Nicki Minaj, the singer opted for a half-up hairstyle with ombré locks and side-swept bangs, reports HollywoodLife.com. Grande’s sexy but sporty looks were finished off with a smoky eye and bold matte lipstick.
Grande’s crimped hair has been giving her fans major ’90s nostalgia, reports PopSugar. She even rocked the look when she attended the VMAs on Sunday night.
According to Bustle, “Grande’s ponytail was created with Matrix Style products, such as Matrix Style Link Blow Out Big Queen, which is out in September, according to an email Bustle received from Matrix PR.
