Celebrities don’t always share their diet secrets. But every so often, a star shares a weight loss recipe or offers up some tips for slimming down. And as described below, some celebrities have diets that surprise, from Justin Bieber’s unexpected favorite to Jennifer Lopez’s unique salad.

When it comes to a unifying theme for the stars, from singers to actors to supermodels, salads reign supreme. Whether it’s Beyonce (who salutes seaweed) or Kate Hudson (who has a feta fetish), salads served up with sometimes unusual ingredients attract some of the biggest celebrities, noted the Daily Mail.

What makes the Pretty Woman star sleek at 48? Everything from nuts to sprouts in her salad.

Julia eats a mixture of Brussels sprouts, pancetta, pistachios, manchego cheese, and poached egg when she has salad at occasions such as lunching with friends, including George Clooney.

J Lo has figured out how to enjoy cheese while limiting her salad to a mere 39 calories. The secret’s in the kale and the type of cheese.

Lopez has revealed that her salad favorite consists of kale topped with queso cheese, totaling 39 calories. Jennifer, 47, includes pumpkin seeds, lemon juice, olive oil and minced shallot as well.

4. Beyonce’s Seaweed Diet Tip

Queen Beyonce followed a diet plan known as the 22 Days Vegan program. Among her favorites: a salad with seaweed, known as nori in Japan.
