Yolanda Hadid’s Daughter Bella Hadid Still Struggling With Lyme Disease

Yolanda Hadid has been very open and honest about her Lyme disease struggle over the years. Hadid has shared her journey through various treatment options, and she has tried just about anything to get healthy again. During a speech in New York for the Global Lyme Alliance inaugural gala, Yolanda revealed that two of her children, Bella Hadid and her son, Anwar, were both diagnosed with Lyme disease as well. And it sounds like Bella’s life has been turned upside-down, and she’s dealing with the same things as Yolanda has been going through.

According to a new Bravo report, Yolanda Hadid is now revealing that she’s nearing the end of her Lyme disease journey, but her daughter is continuing her battle. Bella has been sharing pictures on her social media of her with IVs in her arm going in for treatment. And she revealed that this is her everyday routine. And it sounds like Yolanda Hadid wants her daughter to get better.

“2015-Watching my brave babies suffer in silence in order to support me in my journey has struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me, it is because of them that I continue to fight relentlessly……. I will not allow them to live a life of pain and suffering……. I will prevail and walk to the end of the earth to find a cure for them and millions of others debilitated by this invisible disease!!!!” Yolanda Hadid revealed on Instagram about seven months ago, according to Bravo.

Since Bella is now a famous model, she’s trying to balance her work with her illness. It’s clear that she needs to take the time to get better, while she’s working. Maybe Yolanda Hadid is fighting to find a cure for Lyme disease, so she can pass on the information to her children. Hadid has revealed that her daughter had Olympic dreams but had to give them up because she simply couldn’t ride her horse anymore. That is partially why she started modeling.

“I couldn’t ride [horses]. I was just too sick. And I had to sell my horse because I couldn’t take care of it. If I’d had the chance to succeed in riding, I might not have modeled. I didn’t know that I was going to get sick,” Bella has previously revealed to ES Magazine about her Lyme disease struggles, sharing that her memory started slipping, according to Bravo.

And it has been completely heartbreaking for Yolanda Hadid, who has seen her daughter’s dreams smashed because of this disease that has also ruined her marriage to David Foster.

“Bella had to give up her lifelong dream of having a professional riding career and a shot at the Olympics due to her severe symptoms and inability to ride,” Yolanda Hadid had previously told Bravo when she was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, adding, “This was the biggest heartbreak of her life and an extremely sensitive subject for her. She is resilient and focused on a new direction—she’s made a name for herself in the modeling industry while she struggles with symptoms of chronic Lyme every day.”

Earlier this summer, Yolanda revealed that she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as she wanted to focus on her health. It’s no secret that she filmed last season and shared the demise of her marriage, but now she wants to put herself first. She announced the news on Instagram.
