Does Blake Shelton Know? Inside Gwen Stefani’s Secret Meetings With Gavin Rossdale

Gwen Stefani is on the road to mending her relationship with ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, and her new love, Blake Shelton, may be the reason why.

Stefani went through an ugly divorce with Rossdale last summer, and the two haven’t had a positive relationship since. However, it now sounds like Stefani’s boyfriend is bringing Rossdale back into the fold.

“Blake insisted that he and Gavin have a few drinks and talk about boundaries with Gwen and with their sons,” a source told Radar Online.

Apparently, the Voice star realizes Rossdale’s importance to his kids and wants him to feel comfortable with the new arrangement.

“Blake’s man enough to know Gavin must be feeling insecure about his growing presence in his sons’ lives,” the source stated. “He wanted to clear the air and assure Gavin that he’ll always be their dad.”

Stefani and Rossdale had three boys during their marriage: Kingston (10), Zuma (8), and Apollo (2). The couple ended their marriage after Stefani caught Rossdale cheating with their kids’ nanny.

Meanwhile, not only did Shelton open up to Rossdale about his influence on the boys, but he also wanted to make sure Rossdale’s time with them was well spent.

“They even talked about what particular activities are special to Gavin so Blake made sure he didn’t do the same with the boys,” the insider added.

Shelton’s outreach efforts have paid off, especially when it comes to how Stefani views her ex-husband. It’s also brought Shelton closer to Rossdale.

“It was a smart and compassionate move and it’s helped Gwen get on better with Gavin, who doesn’t feel like some kind of axe murderer when he’s around the family anymore. He and Blake have definitely come to respect each other,” the source shared.

Of course, Blake Shelton’s conversations have also helped Stefani move on from the pain she experienced during the split with Rossdale.

However, Parent Herald reports that Shelton might not know all of the details surrounding Stefani’s divorce. The No Doubt frontwoman recently revealed that only her parents know all the juicy specifics of her breakup.

“Nobody except for my parents, the people involved, and whoever they told,” Stefani explained. “Nobody would believe it if I could really say what happened. I went through months and months of torture.”

That being said, the New York Daily News is reporting that Stefani’s romance with Shelton didn’t start as early as fans were led to believe.

“We were laughing our heads off when we saw the blind auditions,” Stefani said in an interview with Cosmopolitan. “I love NBC, but they for sure edited stuff together to look like we were flirting.”

“They chose to run with that story before anything was even real,” she continued. “I hardly knew him. But it was like it was in the air – happening before it happened.”

Prior to their relationship on The Voice, Shelton was married to Miranda Lambert, whom he divorced last summer.

Despite the secrets, it still looks like Shelton and Stefani are going through with their plans to marry.

“Gwen and Blake are always discussing what their wedding will be like. Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo will all play big roles of course,” an insider revealed. “In addition to writing their own vows, Gwen and Blake have been working on a love song that they plan on singing on their special day.”

According to Hollywood Life, the couple is even planning of writing their vows and topping everything off with another love song together.

The wedding is rumored to be scheduled for December and will allegedly take place on Shelton’s sprawling ranch in Oklahoma. Neither Stefani nor Shelton have confirmed the reports of their coming wedding.
