Ariana Grande A ‘Homewrecker?’ Naya Rivera Hints She Cheated With Big Sean

Ariana Grande is finding herself at the center of a new media firestorm at the hands of former Glee star Naya Rivera.

According to reports, Naya got seriously candid about her past engagement to rapper Big Sean in her new book Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up, even allegedly hinting that Sean may have cheated on her with Grande before they split in 2014.

Naya fan and Twitter user @NayaRiverasNews claimed to have gotten a sneak peek at Rivera’s tell-all book ahead of its September 13 release and posted a number of snippets from the memoir on social media, including an excerpt in which Rivera allegedly claims that she once caught Sean and Ariana “hanging out” together while they were still engaged.

“At one point, Sean & Naya were fighting & he didn’t want to see her,” the Twitter fan wrote of the actress’s Grande confessions, “so she went to his house & found Ariana there ‘hanging out’ on his couch.”

Oh No They Didn’t also posted excerpts from Rivera’s upcoming tell-all online, claiming that Rivera also reveals in the book that the rapper supposedly refused to help her plan their wedding, which the two eventually called off before he went public with Grande.

“[Naya] was wedding planning and he wouldn’t help, he wouldn’t even give her a guest list of people he wanted there. He was useless,” the blog reported.

Ariana, Naya and Big Sean are yet to comment on the cheating speculation and have never officially confirmed that Grande and Sean’s relationship began during his engagement to Rivera, but that didn’t stop fans from chiming in on the claims on social media.

“Ariana the homewrecker?” Twitter user @rebeIIiousIife wrote on response to the @NayaRiverasNews excerpt post about Grande, “I knew Ariana Grande was the one to come between Big Sean and Naya,” @baddierivera added.

But while some fans added fuel to the cheating rumors fire, others noted that both Ariana Grande and Naya Rivera are better off without the rapper.

“Both Naya and Ariana deserve better than Sean,” @darrencurIs added.

Amid the speculation regarding on Naya’s Ariana remarks in Sorry Not Sorry, others pointed out that Rivera was actually asked to sing Grande’s 2014 hit with Iggy Azalea, “Problem,” during an episode of Glee shortly after she split from Sean.

“I can’t believe Ryan [Murphy] made Naya do this after Ariana snatched ha man,” Twitter user @runtheworId wrote alongside a clip of the Rivera’s performing the Grande hit on the Fox series.

Naya and Big Sean famously began dating in April 2013 and became engaged just four months later, only to split in April 2014. Sean and Ariana then went public with their romance in October 2014 but announced their breakup in April 2015 after eight months together.

Ariana has mainly stayed quiet about her past romance with Sean in the wake of their split last year, though Naya’s remarks in her new book come just days after Hollywood Life reported that the rapper had some choice words after hearing that Grande is now dating fellow rapper Mac Miller.

“[Big Sean’s] not tripping on [Grande’s] relationship nor thinking about it or care about it,” a source recently told the site of how Sean really feels about Ariana’s new romance.

“Don’t think for a minute he’s somehow jealous. Sean considers himself one of the best men Ariana’s ever dated,” the insider said, admitting that Big Sean is “cocky in that way” and isn’t thinking about Grande and her new boyfriend.

“As far as he’s concerned, if she’s trying to somehow shade him by thinking he can be replaced she’s a fool,” the site’s insider continued. “Replacing him is impossible. There’s only one Big Sean.”
