‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Paul’s Schemes Continue, Ava Throws Him An Ultimatum, Hayden Scrambles, And Finn Lends His Support
General Hospital spoilers tease that there are big things ahead on Wednesday’s show. Paul has been revealed as the “Angel of Mercy” killer, and he seems prepared to strike again. Ava has figured out that he’s the man responsible for the recent murders, and she will take a big risk to use this information to her advantage. In addition, Monica’s life is at risk, and Alexis will be struggling over the chaos in her life during this August 31 show.
Fans have been very vocal about the reveal that Paul is the “Angel of Mercy” serial killer, with many feeling that the pieces don’t add up here. Some people are still hoping that there might be a twist emerging that shows that someone else has been murdering patients, but at this point, it does seem that Paul is the man responsible despite the previous signs pointing elsewhere. The last that everybody saw, he was prepared to attack Monica, but General Hospital spoilers from SheKnows Soaps reveal that she will be literally saved by the bell.
Monica may escape being attacked, but General Hospital spoilers share that Paul’s involvement in these murders will go undetected for a bit yet. Elizabeth was pushed down the stairs, seemingly by Hornsby, but Hayden is the one who is in a position to take the fall. Finn will be defending her, and she will be feeling desperate, and it sounds as if Hayden may be facing arrest on this front soon.

We Love Soaps shares that Ava will have a request for Paul that leaves him a bit surprised, and General Hospital spoilers note that this one may surprise viewers a bit too. It sounds as if she will use what she has learned to force Hornsby to let Julian out of jail, although Ava will surely be pushing to get the recording he has been holding over her head as well. Paul may not like the ultimatum he is facing, but it looks like he will agree to Ava’s demands as Julian apparently gets out of jail and quickly crosses paths with Alexis.
People will have to tune in to see how Hornsby manages to get Julian out of jail, given the evidence against him, but General Hospital spoilers tease that Alexis will be crumbling under the pressure she’s experiencing and learning that her husband is out of jail will surely send her into a panic. Alexis will be leaning on Diane during this next show, and folks cannot wait to see what comes next on this front.

Jordan will be investigating all of the chaos at General Hospital, and spoilers indicate that she will hear some accusations as she digs into everything. There have been numerous suspects during the course of the serial killer rampage, but there has been no reason for Jordan to suspect the actual culprit. What will it take for her to uncover the truth? Griffin reportedly finds some evidence that could prove to be key in the “Angel of Mercy” investigation, and it seems that Elizabeth’s condition will remain quite serious for now.
What will come out in the episodes ahead to explain Paul being the serial killer, especially given the prior hints and pieces of the puzzle that most definitely pointed elsewhere? How will Hornsby ultimately be caught and will anybody else die in the meantime? Elizabeth will surely recover, but Franco now knows that she is Hayden’s half-sister, and fans are anxious to see what comes next on this front.
