Caroline Manzo Talks Jacqueline Laurita’s Drama With Teresa Giudice

Caroline Manzo starred on five seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey with Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice. On the later seasons, Caroline experienced first-hand the end of Jacqueline’s friendship with Teresa and the fallout from that. Caroline, being Jacqueline’s sister-in-law, also likely spent a lot of time off-camera counseling and consoling Jacqueline through her friendship drama with Teresa. So what does Caroline, who left the show after Season 5 to star on her own spin-off, Manzo’d With Children, think of the drama between Teresa and Jacqueline that’s now playing out on the current season? In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, posted on Tuesday, Caroline talked about Jacqueline’s on-again, off-again friendship with Teresa.

Caroline made it clear that she’s on Jacqueline’s side. Seemingly in reference to many viewers’ opinions that Jacqueline is acting crazy towards Teresa, Caroline said that Jacqueline’s not crazy. According to Caroline, Jacqueline’s strong reaction is because she cares so much.

“Jacqueline’s not crazy; Jacqueline tells it like it is, you know what I mean? And the problem with Jacqueline is when you’re her friend and you turn on her, she’s gonna be very hurt, and she’s gonna try every which way to make it right. And if you don’t want to make it right, then run. Run as far as you can, because you know why? Then she’s hurt.”

Caroline added that Jacqueline has a lot of bottled-up emotions and she’s now finally speaking her truth. Clearly, Caroline believes that Jacqueline is speaking the truth when it comes to Teresa.

“So I get where she’s coming from 1,000 percent. And she’s got a lot of bottled up emotions as well. And I think this is the season where Jacqueline finally speaks her truth. And sometimes, the truth is not popular. So I don’t blame her. I don’t blame her. I get it.”

As for the blow-up between Jacqueline and Teresa that happened in Jacqueline’s kitchen shortly after their first reconciliation, during which Jacqueline disputed Teresa’s claim that the others ganged up on her in the past and said that Teresa filed a “fraudulent bankruptcy,” Caroline’s not surprised that it happened. While Caroline had yet to watch that scene at the time of the interview, she did hear about it. She said that what happened between Jacqueline and Teresa was “a million percent expected,” given the two women’s personalities.

Yet Caroline Manzo, who acknowledged that Jacqueline Laurita can be ruthless sometimes, doesn’t rule out a friendship between the two women.

“Never say never…Jacqueline really, truly loved Teresa. She did. And she feels betrayed and she feels hurt and all those things. Sometimes, Jacqueline’s delivery is wrong — we’ve said that a million times — but she’s got a very, very good heart. And when she feels betrayed and hurt and used, she’s gonna come after you. And I think that’s what she did. You want somebody on your side to fight with you? You want Jacqueline. But then you don’t want her as your enemy.”

By the end of Season 5, Caroline herself had a bad relationship with Teresa Giudice, in part due to what happened between Jacqueline and Teresa. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Teresa said in March 2016 that Caroline never reached out to her during her imprisonment.

In her interview with The Daily Dish, Caroline pointed out that neither she nor Teresa want a friendship with one another.

“We could all sugarcoat it as much as you want. The truth of the matter is she don’t want to talk to me. I don’t want to talk to her. And she’s fine with that, and I’m fine with that.”

On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, all of the women came together for a spa vacation trip. Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania were intent on bringing Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice together after their fight in Jacqueline’s kitchen. While the preview implied that viewers were going to see Jacqueline and Teresa continuing to fight with one another, it actually turned out that Jacqueline and Teresa got along after some initial awkwardness. They even had fun together.

In their respective blogs, both Jacqueline and Teresa said that they have a lot of love for one another. In her blog, Teresa admitted that she was nervous being with Jacqueline but it turned out great, which made her happy. Teresa even wrote that she cares for Jacqueline.

“I wasn’t exactly excited that Jacqueline and I were going to be holed up in the same house all weekend. But as Siggy and Melissa and others predicted, it all turned out great, which I was happy about. Jacqueline and I go way back. I care for her. We don’t see eye to eye on some things, but I was willing to put our differences aside and move on. So was she.”

Jacqueline, meanwhile, wrote in her blog that there is a lot of history and love between her and Teresa.

“What a difference a day makes, huh? I bet you didn’t see that reconciliation coming! Like I said before, there is a lot of love and history betweenTeresa and me! The chemistry between us is clear and real, even though we frustrate the hell out of each other sometimes. #RollercoasterFriendship #HereWeGoAgain.”

But does the reconciliation last this time or will viewers see Jacqueline and Teresa at one another’s throats once again? Caroline Manzo certainly doesn’t seem to think that peace between Jacqueline and Teresa can last, given their respective personalities. Even Jacqueline admitted in her blog that she has a roller coaster friendship with Teresa.

The preview for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 hints that the peace between Jacqueline and Teresa doesn’t last. Rather, during the group’s ski vacation, Jacqueline seemingly loses it while fighting with both Teresa and Melissa Gorga and flees from the trip.
