Stevie J And Joseline Hernandez Are Not Returning To ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’

When Love & Hip Hop Atlanta returns next year for Season 6, there will definitely be some new faces in the cast because a few of the old ones are on their way out. It looks like Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez will not return to the hit VH1 reality show. The former “husband and wife” won’t be leaving reality TV though and have both been given their own separate spinoff shows.

Funky Dineva reported on the LHHATL shake-up and said that Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez’s contracts for the VH1 show have not yet been renewed. On top of that, it looks like the troubled couple will not be renewed for the Season 6 either. Instead, Stevie will be filming a new show centered around himself and his kids. Joseline is also slated for her own reality show and is expected to chronicle her pregnancy via the spinoff.

According to Movie News Guide, Stevie’s new reality TV home will be titled The Jordans after his own real last name and will feature himself and his kids. They also said that Stevie has been seen filming recently with his Love & Hip Hop Atlanta costars Yung Joc and Lil Scrappy, assumedly for the new reality show.

In addition to Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez leaving the show, K. Michelle has reportedly still not received a contract for Season 6. It’s unclear why K. Michelle is still on the reality show anyway considering that her career is hotter right now than anyone else appearing on LHHATL and she also has her own spinoff show to deal with.

The Inquisitr reported previously that there were rumors of a complete do-over for the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast. Now it’s starting to look like that may become a reality and if not, so many are reportedly not returning to the VH1 show that it’ll be full of fresh faces anyway.

Without Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez, fans of the VH1 reality show are wondering what will happen with Mimi Faust. Aside from her very messy love life, most of the drama surrounding Mimi’s storyline stems from Stevie and Joseline. As a matter of fact, the former couple used to be part of her love life too.

Mimi Faust posted a message on Twitter earlier this month claiming that she wouldn’t be back for more Love & Hip Hop Atlanta either. She posted a picture of herself and her manager with a caption that said, “Not about nonsense, I’m about family, success, bigger and better things…. Goodbye Season 6.”

So far, many of the LHHATL cast who are reportedly not coming back have been around since the reality show started. With them gone, who is left? There have been rumblings that Lil Scrappy and Bambi will possibly be back. The newly engaged couple are said to be planning their wedding with the cameras involved. That also means if Lil Scrappy comes back, his very dramatic mother Momma Dee will also be making appearances again.

Certainly, very few of the new Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast from Season 5 will be making a return. D. Smith already made it clear that she is not interested in another experience on the show. After the most recent drama, she has said she’ll seek out other ways to make her mark on the music business and the world of transgender celebrities. Many fans of the show are hoping she’ll take Betty Idol with her.

Scrapp DeLeon is rumored to be getting out of prison early and will be coming back for Season 6. That said, will his mom Karen King be back? Considering her ongoing legal problems, there is a pretty good possibility that she will be in jail or involved in the legal system but her return is still up in the air.

Scrapp’s girlfriend Tommie Lee admitted during the reunion that she did, in fact, try to run Joseline Hernandez over with her car. Given that amount of violence and the fact that the LHHATL Season 5 reunion had to be filmed as several group interviews rather than a real reunion due to issues between the cast and their seemingly never ending restraining orders against each other, it would be pretty shocking if Tommie returned to the show.
