‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Who Pushed Elizabeth Down The Stairs? Was It The Serial Killer Or Someone Else With An Agenda?

There is so much mystery and drama on ABC’s General Hospital this week that it is hard to keep up with all of the craziness going on. The serial killer that has been offing patients for the past few months has finally been revealed, but that is not all that is happening at the moment. Another big reveal happened on Monday, which has put Elizabeth Webber in danger. Who really pushed her down the stairs?

On Monday’s episode of General Hospital, chaos was at hand as Paul Hornsby was revealed to viewers as being the serial killer, and as seen in the clip from ABC, Heather confessed to Franco that Elizabeth has another sister. Her secret sister just happens to be Hayden Barnes, the one person who she hates the most right now. Unfortunately for Liz, she is involved in both of these reveals, which puts her in double the danger.

Elizabeth walked into Monica’s office and found Paul standing there looking suspicious and holding a syringe in his hand. While Liz never saw the deadly syringe that Paul was hiding behind his back, he wasn’t about to take that chance that she could identify him as the hospital serial killer.

Of course, Liz had other things on her mind at that moment rather than realizing that Paul Hornsby was acting suspiciously. She was thinking about her run in with Hayden Barnes and how she would turn over the diamonds that she found to have her arrested. Once Hayden discovered that Elizabeth was in possession of her diamonds, she ran to General Hospital to confront Liz about it.

During the argument that these two women had, Hayden ended up slapping Liz across the face. Finn had witnessed the whole thing and from the look on his face, he was a little shocked by what happened. He intervened as he pulled Hayden away before she could do any more damage. Elizabeth scurried off to leave, conveniently taking the stairs instead of the elevator this time. Hayden also scurried off after telling Finn to mind his own business. Next thing you know, someone wearing surgical gloves came up behind Liz and pushed her down a flight of stairs.

Both Paul and Hayden were looking to find Liz. In fact, these two will run into each other on Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital, which will make them both look guilty. Did one of them actually do the deed?

While the writers may want viewers to think it is either Hayden or Paul, it could very well be someone completely different. Paul Hornsby is the obvious choice since he evidently has no problem killing people. Of course, it will most likely be Hayden who will be accused of pushing Elizabeth down the stairs because she was angry and had that confrontation with her right before that happened.

Is the mystery surrounding the General Hospital serial killer and Elizabeth’s accident really related? It may be that the person who actually shoved Liz down the stairs is not Paul at all, but someone that is involved in the whole sister secret.

The only people who know about Hayden and Liz being half-sisters are Heather, Naomi, and now Franco. It won’t be Franco since he is in love with Elizabeth and he is the one who finds her at the bottom of the stairs. Heather is locked up in a maximum-security facility. Of course, she is the master of escape, so she shouldn’t be totally ruled out. Naomi, on the other hand, has a lot to lose. She wants those diamonds even more than Hayden does, plus she doesn’t want Liz or Hayden to find out that they are sisters.

Naomi is being blackmailed by Heather and doesn’t want the secret to come out about the two sisters. So she could really use those diamonds right now. Would Naomi be capable of murder to get them? Would she really hurt her daughter’s half-sister? According to spoilers put out by Soaps She Knows, Naomi will confront Franco and will give him a warning. Once she finds out that he knows the truth, she will be hot on the trail to make sure that he keeps quiet about it.

The person who just tried to kill Elizabeth will eventually be revealed on General Hospital, but there will be plenty of speculations until then. These two mysteries may hang on for a while before everyone else in Port Charles figures them all out.
