Colin Kaepernick: Jim Brown’s Full Support — America’s Problem Explained

Colin Kaepernick has the full support of Jim Brown concerning the national anthem sitdown. In addition, he has a strong opinion of his own.

Jim Brown says that Kaepernick is just exercising his rights. Colin’s not harming anyone or infringing on the rights of others by his act, right?

In an interview with NFL Total Access, football veteran Jim Brown voiced his thoughts regarding Colin Kaepernick and the national anthem situation.

According to Brown, he wouldn’t have used Kaepernick’s method, specifically. However, 100 percent, Jim understood and agreed with Colin’s message.

“I listen to him, and he makes all the sense in the world,” mentions Jim Brown. “He’s within his rights, and he’s telling the truth as he sees it. And I am with him 100 percent.”

Jim Brown’s no rookie when it comes to social activism.

During Brown’s era, the same racial tension which is happening today was happening then as well.

Black Lives Matter was the Civil Rights Movement. It was the same message then. And, similar to now, it was rejected with hate, misunderstanding, and bigotry.

Isn’t it ironic that America talks about North Korea’s propaganda, but is totally unaware of all the propaganda it’s fed 24/7?

Why didn’t Kaepernick stand for the national anthem?

In a sideline interview, as reported by NFL Network, Colin Kaepernick elaborated as to why he chose to remain seated during that time. Kaepernick noted that it’s much bigger than football.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

And as can be seen from several upon several responses from other citizens, it’s much bigger than football.

“Americans” have called him every degrading name you can possibly think of, including “n****r.” Matter of fact, this is the most frequent name used.

America bashes Kaepernick but gives Ryan Lochte a pass?

How ironic is it for the American public to totally miss Kaepernick’s message, yet respond via the direct manner he was protesting?

If you recall, just last week, Ryan Lochte was in the news for totally disrespecting another country, in their country, during the Olympic games.

Then, to add to the United States’ insult, Lochte issued a half-baked apology in which he didn’t set the record straight, but rather attempted a play on pity.

The Daily Beast says neither Ryan Lochte nor Donald Trump know how to apologize.

Yet, the American public barely spoke his name. Many even called him a “kid,” although he’s 32 years of age.

By the hypocrisy of it all, actual black kids have constantly been killed or terrorized by known racist police officers, and they were called “men” by America’s “majority.”

As a part of his rights, Colin Kaepernick doesn’t have to stand, give attention to, salute, etc. the United States’ national anthem.

While many soldiers did fight for this country’s freedom and those rights of its citizens, what good is freedom if you can’t use it without being “stoned”?

It’s not like Colin Kaepernick is setting crosses on fire in people’s yards, right?

Kaepernick’s definitely not raping men’s wives and forcing them to watch, correct?

Colin’s assuredly not utilizing “black privilege,” because there is no such thing in America, yes?

So, on whose rights is Kaepernick infringing? Who’s toes did he step on and crush to have America in such a frenzy?

This is America’s exact problem right here.

Many American citizens are like babies — highly impressionable. And, usually, they take after their parents; in this case, it’s the United States government.

Like the government, U.S. citizens always have their noses in everyone else’s business but their own.

The U.S.’s foreign policy is wrapped tight. America’s so busy interfering with everyone else’s nation until its domestic policy is falling apart.

Instead of tending to his/her own life and making sure it’s straight, the American public is — once again — playing judge and jury, as if everyone here is wrapped snuggle-tight in the flag.

“He without sin cast the first stone,” right?
